  Meh! Rooms was clean. Faucet made a horrible screaming sound. Shower was amazing though. Elevators were trash, one broke and trapped people in it. Birth looked like freight elevators. Remodeling in progress. Wires hanging from the hallway ceiling. Missed the continental breakfast twice because we couldn't get outta bed in time. 9am. AC worked well. I do not feel like the price we paid was worth the basic accommodations. Finding the place was a bit tricky. Poor signage. Parking lot is trash driveway too.. not likely going back.

  So we were pleasantly surprised at the awesome new remodeling of this hotel. We have stayed here before, and the rooms were updated. The front staff was amazing, young lady was super helpful and even local to Maryland. When we arrived to the sixth floor, the carpet renewal, and the room was magnificent, I don’t even know if anyone ever stayed there before. It’s true that they aren’t under the remodeling process however, with these upgrades, this would be a must stay in Hershey. A little disappointed that the breakfast only went till 930 but that’s our fault for sleeping in. We visited the Cocco diner close by and got a great meal as we would have if we stayed at the best Western. We absolutely will be back and we want to thank the hotel for the remodeling process as we are completely understanding and will forward the future stays here.

  I write this with mixed reviews. First and foremost upon booking this hotel they do tell you that they are under renovation. What they do not tell you is that you get no room service. At least, that was how it was for us. Upon checking out I informed them that we had no room service for the previous night. They said they were aware and were sorry, but they were short on staff because of the renovations. My thought was, if you are booking rooms and people are staying here you should have the staff to cover cleaning and take care of your guests, regardless of the renovations. I would not book this hotel again. The hotel does not have a sign at the entrance and can be a little hard to find. The front staff were friendly. The rooms are very dated and carpet is dirty. The room itself was semi clean. The air conditioner worked well. The beds were fairly comfortable. Breakfast was good first morning and a little slack on the second day..again due to staffing. Perhaps it is the time of year and will get better in the summer. There is absolutely no seating outside such as benches or anything..again the renovations. I almost forgot to mention that the 7th floor is done being renovated. It is stunning (I took a peak). Perhaps if you are lucky enough to stay there you will have room service!

  This hotel is undergoing major renovations. The rooms are small and very outdated. There are unopened furnature boxes piled to the ceiling in the breakfast room. The staff is excellent, trying to do their best under stressful conditions. Carol the breakfast supervisor is delightful and breakfast is very good! The hotel was not clean to the point you would want it to be. Location is great and convenient to all Hershey attractions. Cost is quite reasonable but we decided we won't be returning due to the overall shabbiness.
