  I want to warn every traveler, business guest, and family considering this hotel: do not stay here. This IHG property markets itself as a comfortable extended stay experience with full suites, complimentary breakfast, and a welcoming “home away from home” atmosphere. What they don’t advertise is that your personal belongings are not safe when housekeeping enters your room. During my stay, personal property went missing directly following a housekeeping visit. My items were there before staff entered and gone afterward. This wasn’t a case of misplacing something. This was theft. And given that this is an extended stay hotel where housekeeping has repeated, scheduled access to your room, the opportunity for this kind of violation is significant. What followed was equally disgraceful. I brought the matter to hotel management and was met with complete indifference. No real investigation. No accountability. No meaningful attempt to make things right. Management was more focused on dismissing my complaint than addressing a serious breach of guest trust. The lack of integrity doesn’t stop at the housekeeping level and goes straight to the top of this property’s leadership. This hotel sits right next to the PA Farm Show Complex, is popular with government travelers visiting nearby Fort Indiantown Gap and Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg, and draws families heading to Hershey Park. These are exactly the kinds of guests who bring valuables, electronics, and luggage, making them easy targets if staff cannot be trusted. For a hotel operating under the IHG banner, this behaviour is an embarrassment. IHG’s own guest standards promise integrity and accountability. This property delivers neither. My advice: • Do NOT leave any valuables, electronics, cash, or personal items unattended in your room • Better yet, book elsewhere entirely • If you’ve had a similar experience, report it to IHG corporate directly and file a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Bureau There are plenty of hotels in the Harrisburg area. Spend your money somewhere that actually respects you and your belongings. Avoid Staybridge Suites Harrisburg Hershey. You’ve been warned.

  Arrived at 3:30 pm, room wasn't ready, supposedly. Told to wait in adjacent lobby. 20 minutes later observed others getting rooms. 35 minutes and big queue of people later finally got a room. Terrible check in process.

  Staybridge is somewhere I will stay again. The facility is exceptionally clean, the amenities were beyond my expectations, and the facility was mostly quiet. The food was good and plentiful for breakfast and while I didn't have the opportunity to participate in the evening gathering ("the social"), my husband did and said it was really nice. I was attending a business event and felt that the Staybridge was the most relaxing place to stay. While it was right across the road from where I needed to be for work, it is a drive into the city, although it isn't too far. The staff was courteous and we were checked in quickly. The Social wasn't explained to us as we checked in, I wish it had been.

  We booked last minute and I am a person with disabilities. They got us into a discounted and accessible room right when we arrived in the middle of the night and it was a GREAT space!

  The cost to value ratio here is exceptional. The room was clean, the service was excellent and the fitness center (for a hotel) was well equipped. The food at the social hour was more than expected. The beer was free.
