Idk about the bad reviews. This is my second stay here. For an overnight place to stay it's amazing. Great beds and pillows. Tempature contron fantastic. Hot showers with products provided. In the morning a full breakfast awaits you. Many choices to be had .

Stayed here for a pay-to-play baseball tournament, and honestly, that is the only reason I can see this place still being in business. Dirty, musty, mold/mildew, rooms wet from condensation, no vent in the bathroom, and the overall condition of the room was absolutely unacceptable. I never leave reviews, but this place should be condemned. Don’t book this hotel for your baseball tournament, and certainly don’t book it for a Hersheypark vacation. There are plenty of other options where you can actually feel comfortable staying.

When we first walked in the floor was filthy in the lobby and elevator. It stayed that was for a day until I said something to the clerk at the desk. They were 10 feet away from it all day. The breakfast area was ridiculous. The floor was sticky and the furniture was stained. The gravy was cold. The second morning my husband found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. When we were checking out the clerk asked if we took pictures! Really! We didn’t asked for a refund or anything. We just wanted out of there. I told the clerk if I hadn’t prepaid we would not have stayed there. We wish we wouldn’t have. We are losing faith in Holiday Inn Expresses. We have stayed some very nice ones and this was the worst one. We are definitely going to be staying other places in the future.

So I was supposed to check in on September 12th booked through Expedia and I called the hotel around 8:30pm saying I wouldn’t be getting there till 3:30am on September 13th, and to not give room away and the person I spoke to assured me they wouldn’t give my room away. Get to hotel at 3:30am September 13th to check in to find out they overbooked the hotel and cancelled my reservation after I specifically spoke to someone on the evening of September 12th and they said I wouldn’t still have a room when I checked in. Nor did they ever email or call me to tell me they canceled my reservation, didn’t find out till I checked in at 3:30am, so I had to go find a new hotel. After this experience of no phone call or email about them even canceling my reservation I wouldn’t even recommend to anyone to stay here, especially since they don’t call or email you about your cancelled reservation
