The outside of this hotel actually looks pretty good, and when you first walk into the room, it seems decent. Unfortunately, the closer you look, the worse it gets.
The inside of the hotel is pretty rundown and honestly feels like nobody really cares about maintaining the place anymore. The elevator floors were in terrible condition, the chairs in the breakfast area looked worn and nasty, and throughout the hotel there were little things torn up, dirty, or just neglected.
The rooms have almost a facade to them—they look okay at first glance, but once you actually start looking around, you notice the dirt, damage, and things that haven't been properly maintained. It's one of those places where the longer you're there, the more problems you notice.
The staff didn't make up for it either. The lady at the front desk came across pretty grumpy and wasn't particularly easy to deal with.
We also rented and used one of their conference rooms, and based on the overall condition of the hotel and our experience, I wouldn't recommend that either.
The frustrating part is that this place could probably be a really nice hotel. The exterior proves that. But the inside needs some serious attention, maintenance, cleaning, and frankly someone who takes some pride in the property. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
Don't stay here, unless your really desperate. Rooms and breakfast area are extremely disgusting. Our bed frame was broken, almost fell when sat down on bed edge. Room service does not clean the rooms, when brought up to the manager for a new room or to have it cleaned. Manager dismissed it off like we were ridiculous. Telling us to just deal with it. Breakfast was far from good, everything is bland and tasteless. Management wouldnt unlock pool all day, asked multiple times. Didn't unlock it till almost 5pm, Closes at 8pm. The AC buzzed and rattled all night, squealed when it was on high. I tokok the AC filter out which had almost half an inch of dust in the filter, made the rattling go away, but still thats gross.
Do not stay at this location!!
Check in/management & staff completely unhelpful and honestly not very kind. Called ahead to let them know we would be arriving around 10 and was told that’s perfectly fine just to arrive and find out that they overbooked & didn’t have our room anymore. Tried to manipulate the conversation and say thats not the room we booked for and when we pulled up the proof check in said she “didn’t know what to tell us” because they were too full. My children and elderly grandparents had to sleep on the floor & couch because it was late and we have no other option.
Upon getting up to our incorrect room the room was filthy & had old food in the refrigerator and then room smelt musty and gross. When we tried to open up the pull out for our grandparents we tried to call down to the front to find out there’s no phones in the rooms to call down so we went down stairs and asked for sheets blankets and pillows just to be told they have none of those things available. AC also didn’t work in our room. As we finally try to get rest there is large groups of kids screaming and running up and down the halls all hours of the night while the parents were sitting around in the lobby with liquor bottles telling them to “go crazy”. Next Morning we go down for breakfast in the morning and the breakfast attend was getting visibly upset because a child spilt eggs and was talking about him very negatively right inside the open door so everyone could hear. All of the furniture was outdated and worn out and you couldn’t even sit still the tables in the breakfast area because the tables were so close together you couldn’t pull the chairs out. Back up to the room to get ready for the day didn’t have towels went ALL THE WAY BACK DOWN to be told NO TOWELS IN THE WHOLE BUILDING!! this entire experience was a waste of money and i will most likely never stay in another holiday inn after this trip. may even try to get my money back through my credit card company. do not waste your money her.

This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. When we arrived around 2:30 pm, there was no staff member present to greet us. Another family waiting informed us that the employee had stated she would not begin checking anyone in until 3:00 pm — something I have never experienced at any hotel. Typically, guests are checked in promptly and notified if a room is not yet ready.
The lobby was noticeably unclean, and the furniture was worn and in poor condition. Given these issues, our family — along with roughly 7 other families traveling with us — decided we needed to move to another hotel. While one of our families was speaking with an IHG representative, the hotel employee called the police and falsely claimed we were being irate. At no point were we rude, aggressive, or disrespectful. We were simply waiting to have our reservations canceled so we could relocate.
Once we returned home, I called IHG to make my complaint whom informed me that the hotel management would call me within 24 to 48 hours. However, no call was received and I have called two times leaving a message with the manager whom seems to be avoiding my phone call
I strongly advise avoiding this hotel. The treatment we received was extremely disappointing, especially considering the amount of business our group intended to bring. Thankfully, we were able to move to another IHG property, where we were treated with professionalism and respect.

Unprofessional Management, Bizarre Staff Behavior, and Zero Hospitality.
I am sharing my experience to offer a detailed, transparent look at what travelers can expect at this property. Hospitality should feel seamless, respectful, and comfortable, but the environment here was surprisingly chaotic, invasive, and unpolished from top to bottom.
Upon arrival, housekeepers explicitly confirmed that clean rooms were already available, yet the front desk employee made me wait in the lobby for over two hours. When I asked if I could sit by the pool while waiting, I was flatly denied. Basic amenities like a lobby water station were nonexistent, and coffee was withheld until after I checked in. When she finally handed over the key, she framed checking me in slightly before the official time as a massive personal favor, rather than standard service after an unnecessary two-hour delay.
While holding guests hostage in the lobby, the primary front desk staff member treated the front desk like her own personal living room:
Parading Personal Life in the Lobby: During my wait, her husband arrived at the hotel. Instead of maintaining a professional front desk, she paraded him around, loudly announcing to waiting guests that this was her husband and bringing her personal married life directly into the customer waiting area.
Inappropriate Coworker Dynamics: She openly made bizarre, unsolicited comments to a male employee on shift, telling him in front of customers that he could "be her uncle." The male employee was visibly uncomfortable and cringing, creating a deeply awkward and inappropriate workplace dynamic right in front of guests.
Intrusive Personal Remarks on Appearance: She felt comfortable making unsolicited, backhanded observations about my personal appearance—specifically hyper-focusing on my nails and questioning my ability to function. Front desk staff have zero business analyzing, commenting on, or making backhanded remarks about a guest’s physical presentation.
The physical property only added to the frustration:
Outdated & Maintenance Issues: The elevator felt old, shaky, and poorly maintained. In the room, the bed squeaked loudly with every minor movement, and the shower had severe drainage issues, causing water to back up and flood the tub during a normal shower.
Hypocritical Laundry Ultimatum: The final straw was checkout. My clothes were still in the dryer with about 30 minutes left. Despite forcing me to wait two hours in the lobby at check-in, the front desk employee showed zero flexibility. She gave me a rigid 10-minute ultimatum and threatened extra charges, claiming housekeeping was ready to clean my room —which was completely false.
When front desk staff act like hall monitors while turning the lobby into their personal reality show, it shows that management has completely lost control of basic standards. Seeing how management responds to reviews online with defensive tactics only confirms that the unpolished energy comes from the top down.
I ultimately checked out early and moved my business to a competitor nearby. Save your money and stay somewhere that understands basic professionalism, respects personal boundaries, and hires staff who know how to keep their personal life off the clock.
