Good value for your money, clean rooms, has a pool and breakfast, manage expectations for pricepoint, room was very big and clean, can hear a bit of the traffic if your window is facing the highest however did not keep me up at all, simple not complicated check in, parking lot is also very well lit, unlike other hotels in the area
Rooms felt obsolete but decent, sheets had some dried blood on them so that wasn’t great. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was probably one of the worst continental breakfast I have ever had. Eggs were overcooked, juice machine only spit out water, when I approached staff he shrug his shoulders and couldn’t help. Location is good, about 15min from Hersheypark.

Completely run-down, terrible management, and dirty.
I stayed here for a 5-night business trip (Sunday to Friday) and it was a disaster from start to finish.
Arrival & Management / Billing Issues:
Arrived Sunday evening to a lobby smelling heavily of marijuana smoke and unsupervised kids running wild.
Handed the front desk worker my tax-exemption sheet at check-in, which she lost. By Friday morning, my card had already been charged full sales tax.
Front desk claimed only a manager could fix it and promised the manager would call/email me an updated invoice. Never happened. I called later that day, only to be told no manager was on duty.
The Room:
Looked okay at first glance, but closer inspection revealed dirty socks from a previous guest under the room bench.
Found and killed at least two cockroaches in the room.
Hygiene concerns: Black mold/mildew inside the ice bucket, dirty sink faucet caked in grime and old toothpaste scum, and sticky carpets.
Condition: Damaged lampshades, intermittent TV service, tiny fridge, and an uncomfortable bed. To top it off, a parking lot spotlight shined directly into the room all night.
Facility & Maintenance:
Hallways had the exact same litter on the floor for all 5 days.
Elevators were broken down and filthy inside.
Staff maintenance closets and storage rooms were left wide open, overflowing with clutter, trash, and thrown-together piles.
The pool was disgusting white cloudy water. Musty smell in there.
The fitness center is in the basement. The lights kept flickering on and off. You could see sweat stains on the equipment. With no way to wipe it down or sanitize it. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned at all for awhile.
Everything in the building feels run-down, broken, or temporarily "jerry-rigged."
Service & Breakfast:
Most staff barely spoke English, making simple communication frustrating.
The only single positive was that the breakfast lady opened early for us workers who had to leave early. That said, breakfast itself was the bare minimum—poor quality food and coffee, but enough to barely get you by.
Overall, this property is severely mismanaged, filthy, and run-down. I strongly recommend staying anywhere else.

Great location close to Hershey park. However the hotel definitely needs some upgrades. AC was leaking water in one of rooms. Pool needed to be cleaned and the filter wasn’t running. Maintenance was not working at the time to fix anything. Our room keys also all of a sudden stopped working. Very inconvenient. Rooms were fairly clean. Hotel needs to spend some money to make things more modern or at least functioning.
Here's the updated review with the cost included naturally:
We drove from the DMV area to Pennsylvania for a short family trip and chose Best Western based on its reputation. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
I paid **$540 for a two-night stay**, so I expected a much better experience for the price. Instead, the customer service was poor, and the staff seemed uninterested in addressing our concerns. The room was not as clean as expected, and it was much smaller than it appeared in the online photos, making our stay uncomfortable.
When I made my reservation, I requested a crib because we were traveling with a baby. Even after reminding the front desk, the crib was never delivered.
I also requested an early check-in. However, when I arrived, I was told I would have to pay an additional fee. This was never disclosed during the booking process on Booking.com, which was frustrating.
I asked if I could get a refund or change to a larger and better room, but one front desk was particularly unhelpful. Instead of trying to assist, she told another staff member not to help me and simply directed me to contact Booking.com. That level of customer service was unacceptable and left me feeling completely ignored.
To make matters worse, I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor to resolve the issues, but I was told that neither was available. It was very frustrating that no one in a leadership position was available or willing to address our concerns.
Overall, the experience did not match the quality I expected for the price I paid. Paying **$540 for two nights** and receiving this level of service and accommodation was unacceptable. I chose Best Western because of its reputation, but it failed to meet even basic expectations. The customer service was the worst I've experienced at a hotel. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property unless significant improvements are made to customer service, communication, and cleanliness.
