  Great rooms, but ruined by rude breakfast manager The hotel itself was lovely. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and everything else about our stay was highly satisfactory. However, our morning was ruined by a completely uncalled-for interaction at breakfast. I went to use the automatic pancake maker and opened the lid. The chef/manager immediately approached me with a hostile tone and said, "Hey, don't touch my machine." He then uncovered a sign that said "weekends only," which had been completely hidden from view before he moved it. There was absolutely no reason to be so rude and possessive over the equipment when a guest clearly couldn't see the sign. Hospitality staff should be polite and helpful, not accusatory. It is a shame that one manager's poor attitude brought down an otherwise great hotel experience.

  Staff are nice and hotel is clean but was disappointing to learn that there's no fan in the washroom and that our room was not cleaned up after we left for the whole day... never heard of needing to stay at least 3 nights as a condition for a room to get cleaned daily especially when paying $250 USD per night.

  Suites are scheduled to be remodeled but we did not know that, I booked here because the rooms in the past have always been nice and clean with updates. The breakfast is exceptional and their staff helpful. Our suite was awful, old, musty, lighting doesn’t work well, outlets by beds are loose so you can’t rely on chargers to work, and old air conditioning units. The worst was that in the parking lot was a truck cab with a man inside for over 3 days, watching and living in his cab. There was also an altercation after midnight in the lot between a man and several women. The front desk was notified twice about our concerns and told us to close our blinds, which we did not have in our one window for three room suite, and this made us believe that there was some suspicious activity taking place. This was truck stop activity in a very nice area. I have stayed here at least 10 times over the past few years and always gave it great reviews, but This activity left us feeling unsafe and the rooms far from my idea of a pleasant stay. Before you book question parking lot monitoring and remodeling of rooms.

  I’m not giving these 5 stars just because you remember my preferences—like placing smokers on the 2nd floor so the walk to the smoking area is shorter, or making sure the technicians aren’t disturbed by sporting events, or the fact that as a frequent guest, I don’t even have to give my name at check-in anymore. It’s the warm, welcoming atmosphere I’m greeted with every single day. Warm regards to the entire team, including Meg and Karen, as well as all the front desk staff, housekeeping, and the bar/restaurant staff. You’re doing a fantastic job! And finally, I’ve owed you this review for a very, very long time.

  Meg R. and Staff, you made my stay with you again a pleasure. From the tasty, hot multi-optional breakfast foods, to the comfortable beds and favorite tv cable stations, to the warm calm & understanding front desk personnel, to the beautification of the landscaping, to the clean and neat and quiet rooms and bathrooms, I'm happy to stay with you when I'm in the area. You make me feel like I'm staying at the most expensive hotel in the world, Thank you!
