We loved our stay here and the front desk staff was great, specifically Cory!! The breakfast was AMAZING and the beds were cozy and soft. My only suggestion is to please put an ATM on site. We spent all our cash at the airport and Cory deserved so much more than just compliments all weekend. He was so attentive and kind and made our stay very special.

As someone who has not stayed at a Best Western, I was surprisingly pleased!! I typically frequent Hilton but after reading others reviews I gave it a chance. Shout-out to the front desk staff, maintenance team and cleaning crew who do an amazing job at keeping this property in wonderful condition. The sheets were soft, the lotion smelled good, and if you want to play in the pool or on the basketball court you can do that too. The location is central to everywhere we wanted to go - Longwood Gardens, The White Dog Cafe, Terrain Cafe, a local farm and so much more!! If you've never stayed at a Best Western property including, Best Western Plus, I recommend this location for sure.

We will not be back. We booked this weekend as a test run for our wedding at Terrain. We booked the presidential suite. Upon arriving, we got there at 3pm and stopped in to see if early check in was allowed. They were not able to accommodate so we went shopping ( total win for me!). Once we arrived back at 4:15, we were told our room was still not available. Check in is suppose to be at 4pm. We had reservations at 5 that we needed to get ready for. So we were already off to a bad start. Upon entering the establishment smelled stale we chalked this up to the pool. Once we enter our room at 4:30 we rushed to get ready. Had this been our rehearsal dinner night, I’d be stressed to high heavens. The room was a large size this was a plus for us, the bathroom had a double vanity and there was great natural light in the main area. Please not the window panels by the only window in the room our dry rotting, hopefully not a termite issue. Dinner was great ( check our white dog cafe). When we got back we went to the pool. It was small in nature and the echo was brutal. While at the pool a boy teenage got hit with a water toy and started bleeding. There was blood tracking from the deep end, down the entry door/ door handle and out in the hallway. My family left immediately and I contacted the front desk to alert them to clean the biohazard. The rooms aren’t very sound proof but I will Say the bedroom was great. It was very dark and nothing could be heard we slept well. The next morning breakfast was good. My son enjoyed the waffles, we attempted to get an omelette but kept being told to come back in 10 minutes. I would Recommended having guest remain in line until their food is ready or get a buzzer system to ensure guest can get their food. As someone with celiac there was limit food I could eat. At 9am we were excited ( mostly my 7 year old) were excited to go back to the pool. Once we arrived, the blood still covered the door and floor. I immediately told my son we could not swim , and I went To the front desk. I wonderful Women Guadalupe was on it. I explained The blood and my concerned, she closed the pool asap and got me in contact with the manager. She was phenomenal and the only good part of our stay. We will not be booking this for our wedding and would strongly discourage you to book this hotel as well. I have concerns on their responsiveness, hygiene and attention to detail.
I have to agree with several points from other reviews, mainly the noise complaints and poor costumer service.
The walls are THIN. It sounded like the vent in our bathroom connected directly to the room above us, where we could hear every word of another guests’ fight with their partner. (No fan in that bathroom, btw — shower with the door open or everything in there will quickly get very wet.) Teenagers were running through the halls in the wee hours and banged on my friends’ doors. Other friends could clearly hear other guests having sex through the walls. I’m sure we’ll be told we didn’t file an official noise complaint and it otherwise would’ve been addressed, but we were on the second floor and I’m sure the front desk heard all the noise, there’s no way it should’ve gotten to that point.
As for the rude customer service, I agree with other reviews asserting that staff is very quick to be rude. My boyfriend came down for breakfast with just socks on (no shoes) and came back. I go down (also just socks and no shoes) and as I’m entering breakfast a staff member physically blocks me from my friends’ table, points and goes NO SHOES! I’m like, okay, I’m sorry, I’ll go put some on, and he continues barking at me about how I need shoes for their insurance purposes. Okay dude. I come back with shoes on and realize that they’re shutting machines down and that breakfast closes at a different time on weekdays (9 am) than weekends (10 am). Understandable mistake to make, as yesterday morning was a Sunday and today’s a Monday. But Mr. No Shoes from earlier FOLLOWS ME from station to station admonishing me for my lateness as I’m trying to grab what food is left. “Breakfast closes earlier on weekdays than weekends >:( I have to have EVERYTHING shut down by 9:15 >:(“ and just repeating himself over and over until I have to raise my voice and just go “OKAY!!! THANK YOU!!!” to get him to stop. It really feels like a place where the staff has an “it’s us vs. our guests” mentality.
If you’re a light sleeper, definitely bring any and all noise machines, or stay elsewhere.
