  We stopped here passing through the area late at night by chance. What a wonderful experience. Tired and ready to call it a night. The staff was so accommodating and pleasant. The rooms were spotless and the fresh ground coffee in the morning was delightful.

  Our scout troop had a car breakdown on the turnpike at the Donegal exit, while on our way to Gettysburg. We were able to cram the scouts into one less car, but had to leave two adults behind. The Donegal Holiday Inn Express is paradise compared to a campout, but it was a great experience in its own right. Great bed, great pool, great hot tub, great staff, and the included breakfast was a cherry on top. We pass thru this area several times each winter when we ski at Seven Springs, and never stayed here. This place was really nice, I’d love to stay here during ski season. Lots of great woodwork on the stairs and in the pool with the vaulted wood ceiling. I didn’t think they made places nice like that, but this was a treat. We were able to catch up with our scout troop and had a great weekend adventure.
