Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Carlisle, PA. Our guests will experience true hospitality that has earned our 4.5 star rating from all of our wonderful staff members in each department. We are a prime location for travelers being right off of exit 226 for the Pennsylvania Turnpike I 76 and less than 2 miles off of I 81, exit 52 Middlesex. Located between the major cities of Harrisburg and Gettysburg, and approximately 35 min. away from Hershey Park, we are ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Carlisle hosts some of the biggest car shows in the world 3 miles away at the Carlisle Fairgrounds that run from late spring to early fall. We are also home to the Army Heritage Museum, which offers educational tours daily. Our local cuisine is within 5 miles of our hotel. In the heart of town you will find Dickinson College, making us a great location for both student families and alumni alike. Traveling for business? We are located conveniently across the street from Ahold-Delhaize corporate building and within 10 minutes of many of the local warehouses. Our facility is 100% smoke free and we offer free HSIA to all our guests. Our hotel has both standard rooms as well as suites, all of which contain microwaves, hair dryer and mini refrigerators. First floor of our hotel is pet friendly (with fee). We also have an indoor pool, hot tub and 24hr fitness center. In the morning we offer complimentary hot Express Start breakfast.

- LWLily Wilmoth3 days ago1.0Yikes. Dirtiest Holiday Inn I have ever been inside, and a disgrace to the brand. Clean this place! Paint peeling, doors and walls all dirty and scuffed, carpets ancient and dirty. Our bathroom had patched walls and mildew on the ceiling. The bath tub was dirty. The couch was about 30 years old and looked like something out of a run down trailer park. Headboards were badly damaged. Worst of all is that we came home with BED BUGS. That's right folks. Stay away. Far far away. The Health Department needs to make a visit.

Manager smokes outside but you can smell it all around. All lights in and outside hotel are dim. Price was average. Almost no one here. Parking lot and breakfast room empty. So it's a hit and miss.

- DWDavene WisdomAug 18, 20261.0Located off the interstate. Front desk person was ok. The room needs to be renovated, it tells its age and lack of upkeep. 24 hour coffee is a great idea. Breakfast was disappointing. The pancake machine was broken and the sausage and potatoes were cold. They had bottles chocolate milk which was a nice treat for the kiddies. The cinnamon rolls were delicious as per the kids. Pool and hot tub looked good. We didn't use. If you got the hotel as a discounted price then its ok for the price.

Pancake machine out of service. Housekeeping did not make bed, vacuum or mop, did not wipe surfaces or clean toilet. Only took trash and replaced towels. Window shade falling off the hooks, carpet nasty and freyed in room, beds are hard and head board leather flaking off. Stairwell area flooded carpet and into first floor hallway (did not rain). Dead bugs/dirt in side entries. Mildew/drain sewage smell in bathroom. Did not adhere to “in-app” preferences about high floor rooms close to elevator. No thank you.
