  Do not stay here under any circumstances. We stayed for a wedding, expecting a clean room and easy stay. WRONG. I am covered from head to toe in bed bug bites. They are everywhere, from my face to my thighs. I am disgusted with this hotel, this is truly the worst experience I’ve ever had. The rooms are disgusting. Do not stay here unless you want to wake up covered in bed bug bites and possibly permanently disfigured because they attacked your face. Hotel claims no responsibility, so best we can do is warn people not to stay here unless they want to be a bug buffet.

  My first impression upon walking in was that the atmosphere was a little dated and the air quality was horrible. There was a smell that I could not identify - a mixture of cooked lunch in the office kitchen, chlorine from the pool and stinky socks. The person checking us in gave off a weird vibe but I was too tired to care after traveling for 13 hours. Walked past the pool to the elevator and there appears to be a film on the water, like that of a swamp. I was glad I forgot my swimsuit. Got to the room and first thing I noticed was the massive amount of yellow caulking around the bath tub. There was hair on the floor but everything else appeared clean. We tried to put the a/c on but the thermostat had an error message on it and didn't seem to work. The breakfast area is nice, however the pancake machine was out of order. I did not eat any of the hot food due to worries about allergies (I am allergic to turkey and did not want to risk cross contamination with utensils since turkey sausage was present). The next afternoon, we returned from our adventures to take a nap. My daughter woke me up frantically saying there was a bug in the bed. Being from South Carolina, bugs typically don't bother me. She had never seen this bug before so she google image searched and said "it's a bed bug!" We both jumped out of the bed and I began yanking the sheets off to further investigate. In that time, my daughter grabbed the live bed bug with a tissue and flushed it. I saw a lot of weird marks on the sheets, something I didn't notice before. Possibly bed bug poop. There is never just one bed bug! I immediately called the front desk and notified the person working. The first thing she said was that the room was just cleaned. Cleaned does not mean exterminated. After my silence, she asked me if I wanted a new room and I said yes. We hurriedly packed up our belongings and were outta there! The front desk clerk apologized when she gave us our room key. This hotel has a lot of room for improvement: the beds were terrible, there was no water pressure in the shower, the paint looks like a toddler did it, half of the outlets did not work (needed to plug in clothes steamer & hair tools) and the towels were thinner and rougher than sandpaper. It was definitely not worth what I paid. I would avoid this place at all costs!

  Devon at the front desk got us in our room early upon calling ahead the day of 4 hrs before arriving. She said she would try her best and came through for us when we got there. Its convenient to everything restaurants, Walmart kids play places. Great free breakfast in the morning as well! Highly recommend

  Wonderful experience. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Plenty of parking. Close to lots of shopping and places to eat
