As someone who's had the privilege to travel to a lot of different hotels and resorts thus far throughout life, I departed from my time with this Staybridge feeling content but slightly disappointed. My group of 3 came for 6 nights to spend some time roaming around the Poconos. While Allentown-Bethlehem is not directly in the region, it's close enough that driving throughout is very easy. That said, as far as using this Staybridge as a homebase, it sufficed. Initial impressions of the room were good, but were soon decreased to 'fair.' We booked a King Suite that sleeps four across the main bed and a sofa bed. As is typical of the latter, the mattress used is very thin. It needed extra padding, which we tried to acquire from the front desk. Anything like extra toiletries and towels you must grab from the desk; fair enough. With that in mind, we thought getting extra blankets would work the same way. I approached the desk about this, and the agent told me : "I'll see if the shuttle driver can deliver them when he comes back. " I found that odd but didn't think much of it. About a half-hour had passed and nobody had visited us. So, my friend called down to ask, thinking maybe it'd been forgotten. The agent declared, "Someone already asked about this, and I said the driver would come up with them soon." After that, you can imagine we didn't press further that day. Nobody ever did come that day either. Thankfully, the next day we visited the desk for another reason, and Lakeema, the manager, was there. Not bringing up the little mishap from the day before, we asked again about the extra blankets, and they were delivered later. I also want to take a moment to shout out another helpful staff member, Alexis. She was very energetic, kind, and helpful when she greeted us at check-in. We spoke to her once or twice more during the stay. She's fantastic and a great asset to the team! Back to the room itself, another reason I'm only left 'satisfied' with it is due to some odd design choices. Despite being able to sleep four, there isn't much storage space. There's *one* dresser with only 3 drawers. The two nightstands on either side of the master bed have open shelves, which are just fine. You also have the closet, but that's it. There's not even any drawer space underneath either of the TVs. There's also no connecting door from the living area to the bathroom; you have to cut through the master bedroom. Thus, privacy isn't really much of a thing in the room, so I hope you really like all your roommates! Despite featuring a kitchenette, the trash bins are tiny. We bought some proper trash bags, since the tiny cans provided get full in no time. We also quickly noticed there was not at all any sufficient space for hanging bath towels. You have to get creative to keep them separated; again, hope you like your roommates. Finally, a 'perk' of the property is the inclusion of breakfast. Well, the entire near-week we were there, the oven was inoperable. Therefore, only cold food items along with fruit and waffles were available. Both of the advertised 24/7 coffee makers were also OOO. Seeing that we met things in this state, it's clear they were broken for at least days before our arrival. We made do on our first morning and sought out other options in the area for the rest of our time there. Not just because the equipment was broken, but because we were sleeping in a little. Nevertheless, if we were trying to rely on the hotel's offerings, it'd be very disappointing. Several days of non-functioning equipment isn't the greatest look. What did work were the laundry facilities, although they're awkwardly at the back of the (rather cramped) gym area. So, if anyone's actually trying to exercise, you unfortunately have to get in their way a bit. There are only 4 washers and dryers, so you may not end up getting access exactly when you want. All things considered, however, we still enjoyed our trip. The exterior and interior are kept very clean, and the overall vibe was quiet and relaxing for the time we were there.

Defiantly will not be staying again. The oven was broken apparently all week so no hot foods. The morning staff on Saturday morning was super rude. Came down to get cold breakfast at 7:25 and was told not open even though it's cold food that was already ready instead the lady was busy gossiping in the kitchen area. After being here a week the oven never got fixed so no social hour and the pool was under maintenance as well. Most staybridges are up to par but this one was beyond the dumps with a staff more focused on being focused on doing the least amount of work.

I been in the hotel for 2 month due to some problems I have at my house. During this time, I can say: Front Desk = Ms. Lakima is the best manager/ front desk customer service Representative that has this hotel. She is very professional, educated, kind and helpful. Also Alexis, she also great, professional and helpful. The other ones I had really bad experience. rooms are good and comfortable, I like the location, has laundry, they provide breakfast and mom-wed (Snacks/dinner) The only thing I can complaint and this should be the most important housekeeping is the worse. I have too much to say about the housekeeping services. housekeepers are very lazy, unprofessional and try to avoid their responsibilities with excuses. When they do light cleaning (change garbage, sometimes do your bed if they are in the mood to do your bed, and sometimes provide u dish soap, kitchen rag ) they never clean the floor or sink if it’s visible dirty Only when it’s full cleaning they clean the floor and change your bed sheets. There are several times they don’t touch or change something that need to be clean or replace they just go inside and bring new towels and collect the old ones. You have to request to change the shower curtain. Housekeeping acts like they are doing you a favor and act like if they are the one paying for the essentials supplies that hotel should provide their guest. For the money they charge per night I think they should be training housekeepers to do a better job or change the one they have to real/professional housekeepers. Social night- mon -wed The lady who cooks is very sweet, very kind. Is nice to have a hotel that provide snack/dinner included. Breakfast Ladies are very kind and friendly, breakfast is good. Coffee-24hr is a must.

We had a wonderful stay! We came to town for a concert at the PPL Center. The breakfast was amazing with so many options to choose from. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. The area was nice and quiet, perfect for relaxing, and our room was very clean and well maintained/stocked. We would definitely stay here again when in the area!

We checked in for two nights on a Friday at 3 PM, and our room was ready. They provide a stove, dishes, cookware, and eating utensils. They have salt and pepper but any other oil/spices you'll have to bring on your own. They provided a thing of dishwashing powder along with dishwashing soap if you prefer to do your dishes by hand. The bed linens were clean and comfortable to sleep on. There are feather pillows on the beds, so call ahead if that's problematic for you. Hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were well stocked. Microwave is easy to use. There is a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee or filters were provided. However, in the lobby, they have a giant coffee maker that will brew you a fresh cup whenever you want. Here's the one and only minor complaint I have. During the breakfast times, which are like 7 am - 10 am (I could be remembering wrong, so don't quote me on this), the coffee machine causes serious backups. There's two of them, and it takes like a minute or two to brew a fresh cup of coffee. Now imagine each person taking that long, while still sleepy and not caffeinated, and you'll mentally experience the AM mess of getting a cup of coffee. Aside from that, the breakfast had decent choices. If you're vegan like me, swing by the Aldi that's nearby and grab yourself some almond milk or something, and you'll be fine. They have individual packets of oatmeal that you can take up to your room and top with the various fruits and other things they had there. They also had a pot of oatmeal for you to take if you wish. They had waffles, and a bunch of hot items too. Juice, soda, and tea were also on offer. We had no problems sleeping, as the rooms were quiet, and the other guests were pretty nice too. They didn't make a lot of noise when in the hallways. That said, the rooms are WAY bigger than I thought they'd be. The bedroom is a full on separate room. The kitchen area is comfortable to work in. The living room has a giant TV and a couch. The bathroom is inside of the bedroom, so probably you don't necessarily want to stay in that room with strangers, because they'd have to pass through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. It's convenient to a TON of shopping, restaurants, and other such things. The other minor annoyance was that the wifi was a bit of a hot mess. When we travel, we bring our own Apple TV with us, so that we can be logged into whatever accounts we want to watch. This obviously requires a decent wifi connection. The TV's have cable, but no other "smart" features, as they're not connected to the Internet for whatever reason. There are 2 ethernet ports in the room, but they are dead, so don't bother trying to plug into them. Every 3 - 5 minutes, the Apple TV would drop the wifi connection. I know it's not my Apple TV, because once I tethered it with my phone, it worked just fine. If you're going to be doing heavy duty Internet stuff for work, this might be problematic unless you have alternative internet from tethering with your phone or hotspot.
