  Walls are paper thin and can hear every single thing. Hallways are outdated and have weird smell, pretty clean otherwise.

  Our initial room was not clean . There was a strand of brown hair on the soap bottle by the sink and a strand of white hair on the shampoo in the shower. The vent did not work in the bathroom. The hot water did not work either by the sink . The sink counter was also dirty and looked like it had not been wiped down . The microwave looked like it was from the 70s and used a dial. The room itself seemed antiquated. The fridge was unbalanced and tilting . It also leaked water on the floor. We asked for new sheets and for the room to be cleaned in the morning when we left. We came back in the evening to a dirty untouched room. We ended up having to switch rooms because it took house keeping too long to come to our dirty room. Our baby and toddler were soaked , drenched, and cold and were in dire need of a hot shower , but we did not have any clean towels in our room. We ended up changing rooms. The room that we changed to was a much better upgrade from the outdated room we were initially in. This hotel also does not offer complimentary breakfast . They charge $13, and at that point , kids could eat free. Snacks are also over priced . A candy bar costs $3. They do provide 2 water bottles and cookies at check in for members . They were also very resistant in bringing up requested toiletry supplies , not very friendly for a mom with a baby and a toddler. Not sure if we would be back to this location. We did not have the best stay.

  Extremely Disappointed — Family Treated Unfairly We stayed at this Holiday Inn from June 18 until August 15, and unfortunately our experience ended in a way that was extremely upsetting and inconvenient for our family. We paid our daily rate faithfully and never missed a payment. We kept our room clean ourselves and only requested fresh sheets, towels, and linens. We have children, including an autistic child, and our children have a normal routine. They played with their blocks and moved around the room during the day, and we had them in bed around 8 PM. We did not play loud music or run through the hallways. Despite this, we were told that we had to leave because of alleged disturbances. We were never given a meaningful opportunity to speak directly with Heather Waltz, the manager who was involved in the decision, or to properly address the allegations. What made the situation even more frustrating was the conflicting information we received. We were told we had until Monday, August 17, but then were told we had to leave because there was no availability. After staying there continuously since June 18 and paying faithfully, being forced to leave on such short notice caused a tremendous amount of stress and inconvenience. We had to leave food and belongings behind and unexpectedly purchase a storage unit just to deal with everything. This was especially difficult because we are a family with children who were already dealing with housing instability. As a parent of an autistic child, I also left feeling that our family's circumstances and our child's needs were not treated with understanding or compassion. If a child makes noise or cries, families with special needs should not feel as though they can simply be removed without reasonable communication and consideration. For us, this experience was not about refusing to follow hotel rules. We simply expected to be treated fairly, especially after being paying guests for nearly two months. I would strongly encourage management to review how this situation was handled, particularly the communication surrounding our departure and the way our family was treated. Spending money at a hotel and paying faithfully does not guarantee special treatment, but customers should at least receive clear communication, consistency, and basic compassion. Unfortunately, based on how our stay ended, I cannot recommend this hotel to other families.

  Heather Wattz and her team are amazing. I took a large group of kids and staff from Oasis Day Camp Teen Travel to Hershey and Dorney parks and we overnight at this hotel. The front desk staff were amazing, helpful, kind and professional. The kitchen staff the same attributes. I would recommend this hotel to camp groups, school trips and small group organizations.
