  The location right in downtown The Dalles couldn't be better. It’s super walkable and puts you close to everything—including historic sites like St. Peter’s Landmark and the fun, small-town nightlife options downtown. You really can't beat the convenience of the food spots nearby: Burgerville is right across the street for a quick bite, and there's a delicious Mexican bakery just a block down the road that is a total must-visit for morning treats. Above all, our room was squeaky clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

  Very friendly and efficient check in. Parking under cover for some of the spaces. Excellent handicap parking right by entry door under cover. Handicap accessible entrance with slightly inclined ramp into lobby. Very clean, cheerful and well designed lobby with gifts, beverages and a nice selection of wine for sale. I am on a walker and booked a standard king room on 4th floor. Elevator was easy for accessibility, they put me in a room right next to Elevator and ice machine to accomdate me post hip surgery. Very kind of them. Room has walk in shower. Toilet is very low without bars as it is standard room. Room is very clean, bed is comfortable with crisp white bedding. Standard room works great for accessible needs. Not sure if they have designated accessible rooms as this was all that was available at time of booking. The one and only issue with this particular room is that TV is to the right of the bed, not in front of bed, so a bit difficult to watch from far side of bed. You have to lay on your right side to see television. OK for me we as I don't watch TV but my husband does. That was just this room #417, I don't know about the others. (This could be resolved by management by turning bed against adjacent wall to face TV and bench setup. Lobby has cafe with espresso drinks, breakfast sandwiches and pastries in the morning hours. Looks very good and elevated espresso skills. Door dash delivers to this hotel. So that is convenient. They are in the process of building a cafe restaurant on site so more to come! Not sure of completion date. I highly recommend this hotel in The Dalles. Its modern, comfortable and has extremely friendly staff. I will be staying here again for upcoming stays in the Dalles. It was a great find! I found some amazing rates on VIO. But do check the hotel website first for direct booking.

  Clean and great location to a wedding I was going to. The wedding started at 11am and I was in a pickle because I wanted to get dressed and made up by 11. I went into the hotel at 9 and they said, we have a room available now! You can check in!! I was so relieved. Beautiful sweet front desk girls.

  I went into recently went In to stay two nights and the front desk worker Alyse was one of the most friendly people I have ever met and I could tell she enjoyed her jobs and she really made my stay a the the ray land hotel so good definitely will be back
