  This location is right in the heart of Seaside, it was quiet, allowed for easy walking to beach and shopping. Staff was amazing and the room was super comfortable. We used it as a sort of half way between Astoria and Canon Beach to explore all the areas. Saw tons of wildlife and even over Labor day weekend it didn't feel crowded or overwhelming. Couldn't speak any more highly of this hotel.

  Holiday Inn Express was a really solid stay. The room stood out for how exceptionally clean and well-maintained it was—everything felt fresh, spotless, and thoughtfully kept, which made settling in so comfortable. Overall it was a good experience. The staff was chatty, friendly, and very respectful throughout. We felt our car was safely parked, and the morning breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of tasty options. Would happily stay here again!

  Do not stay here, they will over draw your bank account. We got charged once on August 21st and again on August 25th we have proof this happened and then we called and ask about it and got told we were lying and they wouldn’t refund the money. Would never recommend this hotel again

  This place is a great stay if you're visiting Seaside. It's close to the main, touristy road, but not too close to deal with the higher traffic. It's also positioned nicely inbetween the arcade and aquarium. Rooms are typical, ours was clean, but what gives this review a 5 stars is Jeff. He was polite, kind, and personable, going above and beyond for service helping us get the sauna fixed and getting extras for our kids to sleep comfortably.

  Canceled our reservation super last minute. Manager was extremely rude on the phone. They claimed to have given us a heads up about confirming our credit card on file to confirm our reservation, All they did was call ONCE from a number that was marked as spam so I naturally didn’t answer, they didn’t leave a voicemail, and didn’t email us either. We got the email that they canceled our reservation 10 minutes before check in. I immediately called when I see the email of course and tried to confirm the card then and the manager literally says too late we are booked out in the rudest tone and doesn’t offer us any help on finding another place to stay and immediately hangs up. I’m assuming they canceled on us to price gouge a last minute reservation for double what we paid knowing there are limited options in the area. I would never want to support a business that operates like this. We ended up driving 3 hours farther away towards our home to avoid the price gouging of hotels in that area for last minute reservations. Giving us a last minute cancellation is extremely unprofessional and just insane to not even offer to help us find a place to stay. The card we had on file was canceled due to my husband misplacing it a couple of days prior to our trip so we had a new card but they didn’t care to hear about it.
