Yes, I know the individual rankings don't add up to the 3 star, but this is more for who frequents this level of hotel. The rooms had everything, just a bit lower level than a Hilton or Marriott proper property. It's was very economical.
The reason for the 3 star overall is due to the clientele. People in the pool and hot tub area in tshirts and shorts, not bathing suits. Kids in the pool jumping on inflatable air mattresses. The coffee, eggs, waffle batter, gravy running out before breakfast ended. The box springs blocking the north stairwell to the 4th floor, which I really hope was unoccupied due to fire code.
The 3rd floor room was quiet, bed was adequate, shower water was hot. No extra linens for the sofa bed, but I'm sure those come upissing quite often.
The bright spot is the gentleman night clerk with red hair. He was phenomenal helping find my reservation from a 3rd party vendor that reversed my name, to providing the extra linens for the hide a bed, and provided great service to any and all that came through the door. He is truly an asset to the site and management needs to do all they can before someone steals him from them.
