  Awesome place to stay. Rooms are clean and breakfast is nice. Close to Safeway makes it budget friendly for families.

  Husband and I stayed here for an overnight getaway to the Oregon coast with our dog. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Walls a bit thin, but would stay again. Good value for the money.

  Très bon séjour au Best Western Salbasgeon Inn & Suites of Reedsport ! Hôtel très agréable, propre et confortable. Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique, les chambres sont bien entretenues et nous avons passé une excellente nuit. Une très bonne adresse à Reedsport, que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

  I was skeptical of all the negative reviews since this is a Best Western hotel... Unfortunately it turns out that they are true and Best Western must have no idea a dive like this is Single-Handedly ruining their reputation. Let's start with the hotel amenities, the spa was not working, the pool was freezing cold, The breakfast was bare minimum with nothing good. Literally so bad my family passed! Now let's get to the room, it was pretty obvious that it wasn't vacuumed, every surface had dirt, hairs, we even found a spider and a cobweb in the space at the base of the toilet where you think would be thoroughly cleaned every cleaning but obviously not. The housekeeping crew were just pretending like they were cleaning. I'm pretty sure the beds were just remade from the previous tenants, we could smell cologne/perfume and body odor on the sheets and pillows. My wife almost vomited! luckily we had blankets and some pillows we brought with us in the car, so we covered the bed with ours so we could sleep. Yes, it could use a renovation/update, but that's not what I'm rating. Yes, the location was boring and utilitarian, But I'm not rating that either. What I am rating is what the staff has control over... The cleanliness, the upkeep and maintenance of the spa and pool, And the complimentary breakfast. We took some photos but honestly I don't even want to look at them to get them posted on here. We're trying to forget this hotel and this stay, however, we will do our duty as good citizens and contact Best Western corporate to let them know of this abomination of a hotel. Hopefully they can convince this hotel to improve immensely or threaten to remove them from their chain.

  The beds are so bad that we maybe got 2 hours of sleep at night. They are very hard! We tried everything we could think of to make the bed more comfortable... Piling pillows under us in different ways. We tried sleeping in the chairs instead with no luck. We all thought about going to our car every night and sleeping in it instead and we really should have because we ended up sleeping in them anyways during the day. We were that tired! We couldn't even enjoy our anniversary trip because we were to tired to do anything. Instead we found places to park and nap off and on throughout the day. We struggled through 3 days like this. On top of no sleep we also had terrible back and hip pain because of the bed. The air conditioner wouldn't cool the room down and would shut off when it was starting to make a difference and not turn back on for hours. We told the person at the front desk about the issues and they just laughed and told us to leave a review.
