Comfortable bed. GREAT SHOWER! Floor needs mopped! Walked from bed to bathroom and back wearing clean white socks ---- bottom of socks looked like they were black socks! 3 days in a row

I stayed at the Best Western Inn in Prineville for a week while traveling for work. The first three days of my stay were actually good, and I had no complaints. Unfortunately, that changed on Thursday when my blankets finally became completely unraveled and I noticed multiple long strands of blonde hair (I have dark hair) on the bed and on the blankets I had already been sleeping with. Needless to say, that was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing, especially knowing I had already been using that bedding for several nights. What made the experience even worse was my interaction with DAWN the general manager. She was honestly one of the rudest GM I have ever encountered at a hotel and I stay at hotels a lot for work. Throughout my stay, I had asked different staff members for bottled water in the mornings, and every single one was kind and gave me one without any issue. When I happened to ask the general manager, however, she abruptly told me no and said the bottled water was for “elite members only.” It wasn’t even necessarily about the water—it was the way I was spoken to and the inconsistency in how guests are treated. As someone staying at the hotel for an entire week for work, I found the interaction unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. I DO want to give credit where it’s due: the breakfast was good, and all of the other staff members I encountered were absolutely lovely, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness issue with the bedding and especially my interaction with the general manager really changed how I felt about what had otherwise started as a pleasant stay. Management should be setting the example for hospitality, not be the reason a guest leaves with a negative impression.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff is all very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious. The pool was also very clean and the area is very safe. We only stayed for a night but would definitely come back

We stayed for two nights and had a great time. The breakfast is pretty standard for a hotel but it filled us up for our trip home. When we come back to Prineville, we will be staying here again. Might even dip in the pool next time.
