  Erich that works the night shift is extremely knowledgeable extremely friendly, professional, vary passion with is work and shared his hobbies which we enjoyed.

  After over a decade of enjoying this Best Western on occasion due, almost exclusively, to the pool and hot tub we are finally done as regular customers. The manager (or party seemingly in charge) basically refused us service this evening because I didn’t have my credit card on hand. (Left in Seattle.) Mind you, I stay here every few weeks and her staff, including her daughter let us stay with a copy of my card and I also have Apple Pay—directly linked to my credit card—and can be fully verified! It’s a modern world and most people do not require this. Though I could have used my son’s Visa, we just were too annoyed after being solid, regular customers for over a decade and simply left. I’m a business owner for 30 years. Longtime customers have made my business a success. At this point, this mediocre location is just nostalgic for us as we lived nearby long ago so the kids enjoy memories at the pool. But after tonight, it’s time to find better and new spots. BW was the only gig in OC for a long time and now there are much better options where we will not feel undervalued. One star ⭐️ for an inhospitable experience.

  Newly renovated. Room and bathroom was updated. Bryant (sp?) at the front desk was fantastic. Try to get a river balcony room and just watch the sunset!

  If you’re in this area, this is the best place to stay. The rooms are super clean the main office very friendly various effective and will help you out. They have a restaurant attached to the building and it is great. You don’t have to drive and just park there and have a swimming pool. They have a nice little bar that’s away from the restaurant and it’s a good place. I’ve been to both of the restaurant and the bar they’re great. The service is wonderful. The prices are OK and you can sit outside and look at the Willamette river and all the activity that’s going on there. This is a gem In this area. You won’t find a better place with more accommodations restaurant attached with the bar plenty of parking and a secure it’s away from the riffraff nobody’s gonna come by and bother you… This is the place to stay
