  Jeremiah is amazing very sweet and caring man! My son loves chess and found out he can play with one of the workers at the hotel! The location here is amazing a few mins away from Walmart and other local shops we’ll be back soon

  We had a really lovely stay at the Best Western Agate Beach Inn! We stayed on the hill side, which was surprisingly beautiful, and it was great that there were entrances on both the upper and lower levels of the building. The staff were super nice and helpful, and gave us some great recommendations on things to do in the area. Additionally, the rooms were spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed for longer!

  The front desk receptionist, Rita, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and followed up the next morning to ensure we had a peaceful night's rest. We enjoyed a beautiful room, a quiet atmosphere, amazing views and easy parking! Our dinner and breakfast exceeded our expectations—especially the yogurt, pears, and fabulous menu selections! I can’t wait to go back for a longer visit!

  Great location, right on the beach (or up the hill from it.) I was lucky enough to get an oceanfront king for one night. The days were hot, but the night was cool enough to leave the sliding door open for the sound of the waves. Well worth it! The rooms are quite large, clean, and updated. Parking in the upper floor lot is much easier. Be aware that there's no complimentary breakfast! Not a problem if you don't expect it. Newport Cafe is right down the road and is outstanding. The mini-fridge might freeze your food, though. 😂 I hope I have a chance to come back for more than one night next time!

  The rooms are great. They are huge and very clean. They have a big flat screen TV. The ocean view was great. Was worth the extra $40 a night. The lady that checked me in was very nice and assisted me at every turn. Do not let them trick you into thinking breakfast and dinner are complimentary tho. They will tell you when breakfast and dinner is served when you check in, but it's not provided by the hotel. Its the sea glass bistro place downstairs which is a very hefty bill with it being about $80+ for two people to eat. It was very good tho. They call you downstairs when its ready if you place an order for pick up and they give it to you on a room service tray and then you leave it outside your room when done. I ate late just before they closed so my tray literally sat outside my room all night. The only issue i had with the room was the AC when i first checked in, but maintenance quickly fixed that issue. So the only big issue that kept me from giving it a five star review is the day prior to me checking out. I asked if I could have late check out added. They said I could checkout at 1pm with no issues. So at 12:10pm the next day (with my do not disturb sign CLEARLY ON THE DOOR) a lady knocked extremely loud on the door. I was in the bathroom showering and yelled out for her to "hold on and that I was coming" and she just barged right in with me half naked standing there and she somehow got the dead bolt unlatched as well. She asked me if I was a "stay over" and I said no that I was gathering everything and would be out in 20 minutes and then she just said "oh" and slammed the door. It's also worth mentioning the previous two mornings, i did not get anyone at my door asking if I needed fresh sheets or clean towels at all. I had to go downstairs and ask the front desk lady and front desk manager for fresh towels every day. So when I left the room and was going downstairs to check out, the housekeeping lady was in the hallway on her phone talking to a friend and complaining about her job. The entire floor could hear it. She then turned around as I walked past her and asked if I was leaving 522. I said yes and that I was told I had until 1pm to checkout. She said in the nastiest tone of voice "so your checking out right" and i said yes and that i would be complaining and it was only then when she apologized and said she didnt know i was a late check out, even if thats true and lets say check out was at 12. You don't just barge in only 10 minutes after check out. Most hotels call the room first . She only barged in maybe 15 seconds after initially knocking. Not the kind of service I would expect from a top end BW at $200 a night. That's more Super 8 or Motel 6 type of attitude. However the front desk manager and everyone who worked the front desk was awesome. There was a billing issue that was quickly resolved when I checked out by the manager. I never complained about her but it's the housekeeping department that needs alot of work. Unfortunately that really bothered me and kept me from giving 5 stars.
