Listen This is a great hotel, there's free breakfast, the rooms are wonderful, and prices are affordable to say, so you you should think that I would give them 5 stars! but no what they lack in is cutting corners. I had stayed a wonderful night had a good sleep, eaten the free continental Breakfast, and packed my bags and was ready to leave the room but the last i needed was my puffer jacket so i grabbed it from the metal hanger thingy (attached picture below) and it fell because they didn't attach a screw no biggy right? nope my phone was right under it on the white table in the picture and my phone screen is ruined just because of a corner that was cut reminder that this is FULL METAL no hollowness this is like 300$ to fix USD worst of all IM NOT FROM here im from CANADA so i have to drive 14 HOURS home WITHOUT A GPS so all i ask holiday inn is some reimbursement to fix my phone you make 1000$+ a day so please all I ask is 300 USD to fix my phone sorry if I came off as rude I really want you to respond.

Great customer service and a convenient location, right next to a gas station and restaurants. The room was also very clean and comfortable. Overall, a great experience!

Sad that breakfast opens at 6:30am because I have to leave everyday before of this time which means I can't enjoy it. Everything else it's fine!

Poor Soundproofing and Unresponsive Lost & Found — Not Worth the Price I stayed for two nights over the weekend at the Holiday Inn Express Portland South Lake Oswego and was disappointed with the overall experience, especially given the rate paid ($400+ for the stay). First, the sound insulation is very poor. The room was noisy throughout our stay; every conversation and footstep from guests walking down the hallway was clearly audible inside the room, making it hard to get proper rest. Second, the service regarding lost and found items has been frustrating. The hotel did not proactively follow up on our lost-and-found inquiry. I never received any status update and had to repeatedly reach out myself. Each time I called, the only response was that they were still waiting to hear back from the housekeeping team, with no real resolution or ownership shown. Between the constant hallway noise and the lack of responsive customer care, this stay was simply not worth the price. I expected much better service and basic comfort from this property.
