  Rooms were clean staff were friendly. Hotel is older, but updated. Pool area showing its age and could use a good deep clean.

  First, let me say that when I travel I book my hotel with Holiday Inn, because I love them. This was the worst one I have ever stayed at. When I checked in on 7/24, the front desk lady was nice but was frazzled with all the check-ins. She didn’t tell me anything about parking, and failed to give me a parking permit for my car. I would have never known that I needed one had I not seen another guest putting one in their car. Then, I get up to the room, and it’s clean looking. There were some stains on the floor and the fridge had a horrible odor. I went down to the pool around 8:30pm and there were 10-15 kids screaming and splashing and slapping pool noodles and made the experience very unpleasant as parents sat outside and front desk was unaware(there should be a better way to ensure that kids are being monitored and not ruining others vacation). Then, got down to breakfast at 8:40, and there is not gravy for the biscuits. I went to ask the front desk lady because there were no other hospitality workers in sight. I asked the lady at the front desk if she knew if more gravy would be put out, and she looked at me and rolled her eyes and said,” I don’t know” I asked her if she knew who I could ask and she pointed to the hospitality worker, who was now in the dining area. I asked that worker and she said no more gravy. The egg omelette was dry. If breakfast is served until 10, then it shouldn’t matter if you come at the start of breakfast or at the end, you should be able to receive the same breakfast as everyone else. The front desk worker sat down in the dining area to eat breakfast herself. When I came down to checkout, she was no where to be found. When I walked to my car, I saw her just standing in the parking lot. Her customer service was absolutely awful.

  Rooms were clean and modern, front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast doesn't have a ton of choices but it is fresh and plentiful. It is near a freeway so there is some road noise but it didn't disturb my sleep.
