  An exceptional stay at Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard! The property is beautiful, with a peaceful vineyard setting, thoughtfully appointed accommodations, and an atmosphere that perfectly captures Oregon wine country. The hospitality was outstanding, with genuine attention to detail that made our visit especially memorable. From the comfortable rooms to the stunning surroundings, everything reflected the charm and quality of a boutique luxury inn. A wonderful destination for anyone looking to experience the best of the Willamette Valley. We look forward to returning!

  As a wedding planner in the Pacific Northwest, I work with a lot of venues, and Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard is the kind of partner who makes my job easier and my clients happier. I planned a wedding here this summer, and every piece of it, from the lead-up to the reception, reflected a level of care that is hard to find. Rachelle guided us through the planning process and bent over backwards for our couple. Every question got a real answer, every request got a real solution, and nothing felt like an afterthought. The four course plated meal matched that effort. The duck and dumpling appetizer was out of this world. Guests split between the beef fillet with squash puree and the steelhead salmon with lemon-apricot gastrique, and both came out beautifully for a full room. The cherry and pistachio dessert, pistachio cake with elderflower ice cream and bing cherry (YUM), closed out the night perfectly and was an absolute hit. On wedding day, the Black Walnut Inn team ran service without a single gap. They anticipated what our couple and guests needed before anyone had to ask, which is exactly what I look for in a venue team. Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard treats every detail like it matters, because it does. I recommend them to my couples without hesitation and look forward to planning here again.   The most perfect Oregon winery wedding venue!! The views are stunning. The location is beautiful, and the new additional venue option is perfect. This is one of the best venues in Oregon. The updated blue paint is just adorable. Perfect for a summer wedding in Oregon that makes you feel like you escaped to Italy.

  Horrible service from check in to check out. Over priced. If you have any food allergy they cannot and will not accommodate you. Our $800.00 room had a bathroom the size of a closet.

  If you're staying here as part of a wedding weekend, I think you'll probably have a wonderful time. However, if you're just planning a one- or two-night getaway, you may want to consider other options. For the price we paid, my expectations were a bit higher. When I'm spending over $500 per night, I typically expect amenities like turndown service and a more polished guest experience. I also wasn't expecting the room to take so long to cool down after we arrived. That said, the property itself is absolutely beautiful, and our room was spotless. Most of my disappointment came down to the service. Our complimentary water was never refilled, my husband wasn't able to take his morning cappuccino to go, and no one offered to assist with our luggage when we checked out. It seemed like the staff was stretched thin because a wedding was arriving that day, which may explain some of the service issues. Overall, it's a lovely property with gorgeous grounds, but given the price point, I expected a more attentive and seamless experience.
