  Check-in went well, but the bald, male African American receptionist at checkout was unprofessional and inattentive. On another note, the bathroom vanity was too high and not very user-friendly. The breakfast was standard Holiday Inn style.

  I would like to take a moment to express my deepest and most heartfelt gratitude for the extraordinary experience I had during my stay at Holiday Inn Express Bend South from June 30th through July 16th. This was not just a routine stay. It was a time in my life marked by personal emergency and uncertainty. In the midst of that, your team became more than hotel staff. You became a source of stability, comfort, and genuine human care. That level of compassion is something I will never forget. From the very beginning, I was met with warmth, professionalism, and a sincere willingness to help in any way possible. Every detail mattered, and it showed. The amenities were consistently excellent. The breakfast service was not only well prepared but uplifting each morning. The housekeeping team maintained my room with such care that it truly felt like a place of peace during a difficult time. Simple things, like ensuring I had extra towels or checking in to see if I needed anything, were handled with urgency, kindness, and a smile that carried real meaning. What made this experience truly exceptional, however, was the people. I want to personally recognize and thank Arlissa, Lauren, Carson, Joe, Jaime, Crystal, Linda Baca, Sandra, Jamal, Dulce, Carriessa and Jake. Each of you brought something special, whether it was your professionalism, your attentiveness, your patience, or simply your kindness in moments when it mattered most. You did not just perform your roles. You showed up with heart, and that made all the difference. In a world where service can often feel routine, your team delivered something rare. You demonstrated genuine care, unity, and excellence at every level.   We went to see a show at the amphitheater near by. It's at a perfect spot not too far from anything. Staff were great and very kind. Breakfast was pretty good. Pet friendly as well. This is a place you must try.

  Really nice recently built our remodeled hotel. Good breakfast, good gym, clean and well thought out room. The power went out for maybe 1-2 hours around 1130 pm due to local utility auto shut off power from wind or something to the entire area. Other than that, great stay!

  The location is good, the beds are decently comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. However, in the middle of the night the people above us started walking around their room and they never stopped. I woke up around 4AM and couldn't get back to sleep. I tried putting a pillow over my head, but their footsteps were actually shaking our room a bit. We stopped there to get sleep in the middle of a long driving journey and I got about 4 hours sleep for the night. I would recommend getting a top floor room. They gave me a free Barq's root beer from their little convenience store in the morning which I was glad to have because there is no way I could make it through the day ahead without caffeine. They reminded me in the morning that I should have called down to the front desk so they could have addressed it with the people above us, but I didn't want to disturb my kids or end up just being told we could move rooms in the middle of the night. Also, I gave them the benefit of the doubt at first and assumed they might be getting ready to start their day early (although the amount of walking around seemed excessive even for that) and by the time I felt it was appropriate to do something more about it, I had already been wide awake for a couple of hours and decided to just take a shower and start my day. Two stars because some thing were good enough that one star would not be an appropriate review, but sleeping is what I wanted to do and wasn't able to do.
