- EDElizabeth DodsonJun 20, 20261.0We were traveling with 2 of our children and chose to stay overnight, due to positive experience in the past. But... this time it was a disaster. We were awoken a little after 3am due to being bitten multiple times while laying in bed. We discovered there were bed bugs and I had an allergic reaction due to the bites. It may have been a one time occurrence, but the man at the service desk was very rude. He asked to come look at the room to see if he could find more to make sure we were not "scamming" him. He didn't have to make an accusation like that, rather just ask to come confirm. Then, he offered to call an ambulance to provide medical care, but the expense would be our responsibility. That shouldn't be how members/repeat guests are treated. The man at the service desk did contact the front office manager who refund us for the expense of the room. But... that doesn't cover out-of-pocket expenses to clean our clothes and spray out our luggage and vehicle to prevent the spread to our final vacation destination.

It was like ICE. To cold to even swim in for my kids or grandbaby. That is why I chose this hotel. Very disappointed!

When I arrived the pool was freezing cold and they did have anything on their website saying that the pool was not working or heated. They should’ve put that there pool was temporarily not working and that it would be cold so that I could’ve chosen a different hotel.
