The 19-story Tulsa hotel was the tallest building in Oklahoma when first built, and the only place with ice-cold tap water and rooms with ceiling fans. The distinctive Sullivanesque style, Art Deco-era hotel instantly became a high society hub in Tulsa, the Oil Capital of the World. Oil tycoons such as J Paul Getty conducted business deals in the lobby and celebrity guests such as Babe Ruth, Charles Lindbergh, Lucille Ball and President John F. Kennedy danced in the Crystal Ballroom.

Beautiful place to stay, so classy and the staff was wonderful especially the night auditor Tony. We also enjoyed some amazing cocktails by Rich. The team at 1925 went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic dinner, thanks Bailey, Quin & Charlie!

Overall a nice hotel and it was great to see all of the history included there. 2nd floor mezzanine level has lots of pictures and info about the history of Tulsa. Room was nice and spacious but lacking. No information anywhere about local services, food or anything. Not even a menu or info about the restaurant, bar or room service in the hotel. Also had a steamer instead of an iron and ironing board. Just a bench at end of bed if you want to watch tv.. Drink and fridge area was nice but kind of expected more than just coffee and water. Location was a little noisy but not bad for being downtown. A few restaurants close and right near the BOK center. Great place if you're coming in from out of town for a show or event.

The best hotel in Tulsa, without question. From arrival to departure, the team made me feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond throughout my stay. A special thank you to Shaun, Sarah, Valeria, Jimmie, and Sawyer for their kindness, professionalism, and outstanding hospitality. What sets this hotel apart is its people and the care they show every guest. Thank you for a wonderful stay. When I return to Tulsa, I will absolutely be staying here again. Highly recommended!

I recently hosted a continuing education event at The Mayo Hotel and was extremely disappointed with the experience. When booking the event, I specifically explained that I needed space for approximately 50 attendees, food and beverage service, and most importantly, a TV or presentation screen because I would be giving an educational presentation. I was assured multiple times that these accommodations could be provided. I arrived early to set up for my event and discovered there was no TV, screen, or presentation equipment in the room. There was also no event staff available to assist. I called the sales manager I had been working with twice and left messages but never received a response. The front desk also attempted to contact her and told me she would call me back, which never happened. After searching other rooms ourselves, we found a projector and attempted to use it so that I could actually conduct the presentation. We were then told it did not belong to the hotel and might not be available for use. At no point was an alternative solution offered, despite the fact that a presentation screen had been a clearly communicated requirement from the beginning. To make matters worse, the event timing appeared to be completely miscommunicated internally. The event was scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM, yet attendees were told the bar would not open until 6:30 PM. When I asked about the food service, I was told it was not scheduled until 7:00 PM. This left my guests waiting while I tried to manage issues that should have been handled by the venue. As someone who regularly hosts educational events, I understand that mistakes can happen. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication, lack of preparation, and lack of urgency in resolving problems that significantly impacted my event and my guests' experience. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not choose this venue again for a professional event.I recently hosted a continuing education event at The Mayo Hotel and was extremely disappointed with the experience.
