    I had a reservation for tonight, but around noon today, I received an email stating it was suddenly canceled. When I called, the person who answered identified himself as the General Manager but refused to provide his name. He claimed my card failed, which was simply due to a temporary security block. I offered to unblock it right then and there to reinstate the booking, but he refused. Instead, he tried to force me into a new reservation for $50 more. When I mentioned that this predatory behavior would jeopardize my long-standing relationship with Holiday Inn, he completely dismissed it and did not care. Terrible customer service from the top down. Avoid this location.

    I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Holiday Inn in South Tulsa. I was originally booked at the Hilton Garden Inn across the parking lot, but because they were overbooked, I was sent to this Holiday Inn instead. As a Hilton Honors member, I specifically choose Hilton properties because of the consistency, benefits, and overall experience. I was disappointed to be moved, but I was told I’d receive a suite, so I tried to stay positive. Unfortunately, the “suite” was anything but an upgrade. When we got to the room, there were mushrooms growing out of the carpet. Yes, actual mushrooms. There was also a dirty used cup on the floor beside the bed, making it obvious the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. To top it all off, there was no hot water. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, the front desk offered me IHG Rewards points as compensation. Why would I want IHG points when I don’t normally stay at Holiday Inn? I was only there because Hilton sent me there after they overbooked their hotel. Make it make sense. This entire experience was unacceptable. Between the cleanliness issues, the lack of hot water, and the poor resolution offered, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. I expected much better, especially after being displaced from the hotel where I was originally supposed to stay.

    I am definitely adding this property to my favs. Zain, Jennifer, Morgan, and Sarah took exceptional care of me. The property is very clean and well maintained. I split my stay, two days on the front end and three days on the back end, so I had two different rooms and they were both excellent. I highly recommend!

    The ac keeps shutting off so we turn it back on and it shuts off again. We set it at 66 which is the lowest this hotel allows, it runs then shuts off at the wall and doesn’t come back on. I called the front desk and he just keeps repeating that the max is 66 and he says it will come back on. NOT WHEN ITS OFF IT WONT! We get up turn it back on and again it shuts off by itself and doesn’t come back on. It goes back up to 72 and off! The front desk doesn’t understand and is of no help at all. I tried to tell him that the cleaning people don’t clean well either but he just kept interrupting me when I was talking. A message from a previous person was left on the mirror so we know they don’t clean it. What else don’t they clean???

    Absolutely loved this place. We have stayed at other holiday inns IHG and always had a great experience but this one specifically was the best one yet. Our time started with a booking issue through booking.com. once we got here to check in it was cancelled, but the manager was super nice and got us the same room and even honored the rate from the website. The whole hotel was super clean. From the lobby, elevators, hallways. Everywhere was clean. The room was absolutely beautiful! Everything looked as if it were brand new. Extremely clean. All the toiletries were full and stocked, and were an actual drug store brand not an unheard of hotel chain brand. Nothing wrong with them I’ve used them many times, but was very pleasantly surprised to see all Dove products. The layout of the room was comfortable and very spacious. The front desk employees from the day time into the overnight were both absolutely wonderful and so kind. I wish I had gotten their names to give them a shout out. 2 very sweet beautiful ladies. The staff here actually checked in with us more than once to see if we needed anything, and accommodated everything we needed. Check in and check out we’re so so easy and quick. Over all this was by far the best stay we have had and 5 stars aren’t even enough!
