I stayed here with my grandmother who is in her 90s and her hearing aid wasn't working when my grandmother was just trying to figure out what was going on at 8am our cards stoped working when she prepaid for a reservation that was supposed to be for 2 nights the lady with blonde hair at the front desk was rude and very unprofessional she kept saying we were the ones with additudes when she was clearly the one with the problem she wouldn't tell us her name so we could report it to a manager she got mad when no one wanted to argue with her when my grandmother couldn't understand what was going on I went in there calmly and nicely and she still coped an additude and was rude to me when all I was trying to do was figure out if my grandmother had to pay again or what the issue was when it was sorted out finally she was supposed to fix the cards and so we went back to the room to have ti go back down there she got another additude because she wad the one who said she had to have my grandmother there to redo the key so instead of arguing went to grab her and thats when she started threating us would not recommend this place!

Would not recommend staying here if you’re expecting to use the pool. It closes at 8pm which most folks are just just checking in around that time. Needless to say, the couple checking in ahead of us were disappointed as well as our own kids when they learned that they won’t get to use the pool because of our arriving at 8pm on a Saturday evening. The refrigerator had an an awful smell. The room itself had a musky smell but was able to open the window to air it out. Cleanliness was good though. This hotel is now on our do not stay at list.

Avoid this location. I flew across the country using my official Tribal ID, but the front desk refused to accept it as valid ID. They canceled my reservation, forcing me to find last-minute lodging at the Hampton Inn down the street. The front desk staff was incredibly rude, and getting my money back has been a battle. Every time I call to speak with a manager, I'm told they are "unavailable," and my calls are never returned. They have no problem taking your money, but good luck getting customer service if an issue arises. While corporate customer support (Tierra) was very helpful and kind, the staff at this hotel was abysmal. I will never book here again.

So, I'm not in motels/hotels very often. Overall, the experience was fine. They had a decent variety of breakfast, there was a pool that we unfortunately didn't get to use. The beds were neat. Two mornings in a row we didn't have hot water in the shower and I felt like 3 small pillows weren't enough for the beds (granted I'm pregnant and requiring extra pillow support lol) and the front desk didn't have any extra to give me. The closets also didn't have any extra bedding if you were cold, although the thermostat for the room was very easily accessible. Long comment short: you may want to bring pillows or blankets if you are rooming with someone who likes artic temperatures. 😉

I have never felt so disrespected or unwelcome at a hotel in my life. This was genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering staying here to think twice before booking. On the morning of checkout, I woke up around 10:30 a.m. and immediately booked another two-night stay because I had originally planned to continue staying at the hotel. While I was packing, an employee working the morning shift knocked on my door at 11:00 a.m. to let me know it was checkout time and that they needed the room cleaned. I politely apologized, explained that I had just booked another two-night stay, and told her I was actively packing and would be out as quickly as possible. Instead of allowing me a few minutes to finish packing, the same employee came back to my room three more times while I was still gathering my belongings. Each interaction became increasingly rude and hostile. She even threatened to call the police on me, despite the fact that I had already explained the situation, was cooperating, and was in the process of leaving. I was staying with my sister and her boyfriend. Although the reservation was under my name, my sister paid the security deposit and provided her ID when she did so. Even so, the employee gave my sister a hard time about the room and acted as though she wasn’t associated with the reservation. We understood that the reservation was in my name, but since she had paid the deposit and provided identification during check-in, the way she was treated only added to an already frustrating situation. Once I finished packing, I decided that after being treated that way, I no longer wanted to stay there. I went to the front desk to ask about canceling the reservation I had just made and getting a refund. I remained calm, respectful, and simply wanted to discuss my options. Instead, I was told I was “trying to argue,” and the employee walked away from me while I was speaking instead of helping me. At no point was I yelling, disrespectful, or causing a scene—I was simply asking about canceling the reservation because of how I had just been treated. As I left the hotel, I saw police officers at the front entrance. Calling the police over someone who was already packing, leaving the room, and trying to resolve the situation professionally at the front desk was completely unnecessary and an unbelievable overreaction. Yes, I understand that checkout time was 11:00 a.m., and I was a few minutes past it while finishing packing. But there is a huge difference between enforcing a checkout policy and treating a paying guest with disrespect, hostility, repeated harassment, and threats of police involvement. No customer deserves to be treated that way. I also noticed that when this hotel receives negative reviews, the owner often responds by accusing guests of lying or claiming the reviews are fake instead of taking accountability. If that happens with this review, it will only reinforce the concerns that other guests have already expressed. This review is an honest account of my personal experience. To anyone considering staying here: there are plenty of hotels that appreciate their guests and know how to treat people with respect. Based on my experience, this is not one of them. I will never stay here again, and I strongly recommend spending your money somewhere else.
