  Stayed here a few weeks ago and everything was great. Room was clean and good customer service. This time was a different story. Gentleman that checked me in was a bit rude and also informed us that the elevators were not working. The bathroom in the room smelled like sour towels. It was the shower curtain that was old and needs to be changed. Floors in the bathroom were dirty. I have to say I was very disappointed this visit.

  Reserved a 2-bed room but upon arrival, they only had a 1-room bed available. The front desk service was helpful with bringing additional bedding. However, we found rodent feces on the counter surfaces in the morning, with food stored on the counter chewed through. The morning desk man was helpful and discounted the charge to $67. The final charge on my card was $190. When I contacted the evening management about the manner, he was incredibly unhelpful and stated that the charge should be $85. Very disappointed in this location.

  1. Charged my car before I got to location. I was supposed to at location. 2. Elevator did not work, I was on the 4th floor. 3. My TV did not work properly, the signal kept failing and I FIGURED it out. 4. My shower 🚿 didn't work properly, the flow was far and in-between 🙄

  We have stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites Stillwater - University West many times over the years, and our experiences have typically been good. The hotel is usually clean and comfortable, which is why I felt compelled to leave a review after our stay on August 8th. Unfortunately, this stay was pretty frustrating. The elevator was out of service, and our room was on the 4th floor. To be fair, some of that is on us because we didn’t check in until around 10:00 PM, so I understand room options may have been limited at that point. However, having to carry everything up four flights of stairs was definitely not ideal. What bothered me more was the condition of the areas we had to walk through because the elevator was down. The tile floors in the behind-the-scenes hallway and stairwell on the west side of the building were honestly disgusting. I understand these are areas guests probably don’t normally see or use very often, but when the elevator is broken and you’re routing guests through them, they need to be cleaned. Mop a little, mop a lot—whatever it takes. If guests are being asked to use those areas, they should be kept to the same basic cleanliness standard as the rest of the hotel. Our room itself was clean overall, although the bathroom could have used a little more attention. I’m not saying we wouldn’t stay here again. We’ve had enough good experiences here in the past that I would give the hotel another try. But this particular stay was disappointing and frustrating. When something like an elevator being out forces guests into areas they normally wouldn’t use, management needs to make sure those areas are clean and presentable.

  The elevator was broke and has been broken since last Thursday. How long does it take to fix an elevator??? On another note, the bartender Morgan was awesome!!!
