  ​This one-night stay did not meet basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, or service. The condition of the room suggests it was not cleaned well prior to arrival. ​Specific issues included: ​Cleanliness and Sanitation: The sheets had a blood stain, the bathroom floor was dirty, and a liquor bottle was found behind the couch. ​Room Furnishings: The bed was lumpy on the top right side, making it difficult to sleep. ​Maintenance Issues: The room had a dripping faucet that could not be turned off, a missing light bulb, a broken lampshade that was falling off, and no telephone to contact the front desk. ​Service: Check-in staff provided no information, including breakfast hours. ​General Condition: The facility appeared rundown and poorly maintained. ​The $260 rate is not justified by the condition of the room or the level of service provided. The *only* positive was location.

  Right off the interstate and WalMart and the mall plis several restaurants are all within walking distance. There is more shopping and restaurants on the other side of the interstate which is just a 5 minute drive. I gave it 3 stars because the pool is so dirty you cant swim in it and its time for new carpet. One the first floor the hall carper is stained pretty bad all the way through and the room we stayed in was stained as well. Hair in our fridge and on one of the beds. Other things that could use some TLC is the exterior could use a fresh coat of paint and in one area the downspout of the cutter was falling off the building. So dont park on the south east corner close to the pool are you might find a downspout on your vehicle.

  We stayed for a pool 🎱 tournament at the Grande Casino. This was perfect for our stay with the small team. Definitely will be back next year!

  Room 304 had peeling from the ceiling due to either a water leak or rainwater. Not sure which. Located above the window. The window shade would not draw up at all. As the night wore on, you could smell the mildew. We had to get off the highway so we booked the last room they had which was this mildew room, with a moldy shower curtain (hem of the shower curtain). We packed up as fast as we could once we woke up as the air quality wasn't great. We notified the front desk and the woman was apologetic but did not offer any points or discount. It was very unacceptable as my wife had to use her emergency inhaler. Next time, we will have to check the room as this room needs major renovation due to the malfunctioned window and the water leak with peeled ceiling around the window. We contacted Guest Services and they wanted to offer 10,000 points and apologized. It is very unnecessary as we paid $170.10 for the room (without adding the taxes). PS, make sure you do not get room 304. If it were not for the bad air quality, the stay would have been more pleasant.

  So I stay at alot of Holiday inn Express locations. They all have there own quirks and fun things. One thing I find that is really bothersome is that some of them have the breakfast door half open with a sign that says not open yet while you can clearly see it's fully ready. Other locations are happy to let you through and grab an apple or a yogurt so you can get out on your way. This is a lot more customer friendly and as they are in the customer service industry I would think they would try and be more accommodating.
