Please save yourself the hassle and just find another Holiday Inn because this location is not the one! Out of all the Holiday Inns I’ve had the pleasure of staying at…this is by far the worst! I’m going to give the review in the steps in which the issues occurred: With the opening of the hotel automated doors you get a strong overwhelming chlorine smell all throughout the front lobby area. We were not provided the meal tickets for breakfast. I booked a 1 King 1 Bedroom Suite. I wouldnt call it a suite. Upon entering the room; the cigarette smoke just slaps you in the face in addition to the lingering carpet odor. The crimson colored wallpaper behind the bed was poorly done with some type of visible tan substance smeared across it. The entire room has poor lighting throughout which makes it hard to see/find certain things. The lamp shades are also stained. The curtains were stained, ripped and did not come down far enough to keep the sunlight out of the room. The office desk chair was visibly stained however the kicker is the chair, some type of leather. There was brown food/crumbs residue on the floor where the tile separates the bedroom/carpet. The bathroom: there was dove liquid hand soap at the sink however there was no bar or liquid soap for the shower. There was only shampoo and conditioner. Good thing I always pack my own toiletries. The curtain was also ripped and not long enough to adequately keep the floor dry. There were electrical outlets that did not work. The kitchenette area did not include any dishes, utensils of any kind,...real or disposable. Coffee maker, coffee pods but no cups. The refrigerator temp was warm, not welcoming to guests that may have perishable or cold items needing refrigeration. The restaurant/bar area was not available during our entire stay. The pull-out couch had huge visible blue stains. The room was not stocked with bed linens for the couch. Which was a good thing because who would comfortably lay down on a stained mattress. The mattress on the bed was also checked. We didn’t see any visible stains therefore my 2nd guest slept in the bed with me instead of on the couch. Any and all additional items needed for the room; you must pick up yourself at the front desk (day or night). Why are there no pillows for guests at this location? Upon exiting the room the room door doesn’t close adequately therefore with entering/exiting you must ensure the door is closed/locked before walking away. There are no public ice makers/machines on the 1st, 3rd. You have to go to the 2nd or 4th floor to get ice. And I’m guessing the guests on floors 2 and 4 have to come to the 3rd floor to wash laundry. The kitchen attendant lady is very friendly, however first impressions are everything! She will not let you get past the first couple of tables without interrogating you about your breakfast ticket(s). Yes, I paid extra to have breakfast included in our rate. The plates and silverware were visibly dirty and had to show them to the lady attending the kitchen. No water in the kitchen with the juices you had to get water from a table in the front lobby. There were now paper plates or trays to accommodate guests wanting to take their breakfast back to their room. There are no napkins, paper towels, silverware, cups, plates…nothing in the suites. The breakfast was the same each morning: biscuits, gravy, sausage patty and link (visibly over-cooked), bacon, potatoes and french toast. The french toast looks horrible. I must say on the day we checked out the french toast looked the best it ever looked however we were too afraid to try it. So in addition to paying extra for the breakfast we also spent extra on breakfast when we left the hotel each day. We did NOT rest well during our 4 night stay, We were 12 hours from home and this hotel stay made the OK trip one to remember! Wait but it doesn’t end there……we were charged more than the rate booked. If any of my next travel destinations (business or personal) require a IHG hotel stay……I’ll be making other arrangements!

Unfortunately, this wasn't a good stay. First, I found out that they no longer provide free breakfast. There is an additional charge per day for breakfast. After getting to the room, it was the room right off the elevators and behind the ice/vending machines area. So, we had to contend with those noises for 3 nights as well as children running up and down the hallway at all times of the day and night. Unknowingly, I booked an "accessible" room, so there was lots of space. Once we go into the room, the entry light did not work, the fan in the bathroom did not work, and there is no light above the sink in the bathroom. The room itself was kind of dark. After the 2nd night, when we left the room during the day, we came back and noticed that the housekeeper had cleaned the room, but not really. They made up the bed poorly and never changed the sheets. They didn't vacuum the floors, they didn't take out the trash, they didnt restock the facial tissues, and they didn't clean the tub, sink, or toilet, they only changed out the towels. When I called the front desk to ask about it, the young lady apologized and said that it's not normally done that way. She offered to give me clean sheets and let me change them myself. But, u told her that the money I'm paying for the room doesn't include me changing my own linens, that's part of why I'm paying you. We tried to get a late check out because we were supposed to meet people for brunch before heading back home, but only IHG members are afforded that luxury. Well, I'm a long time IHG member for about 25 years now but because I booked through a 3rd party, I can't get a late check out, u can't get any points for this stay and I couldn't get a receipt for checkout! As we are getting ready to leave the hotel, housekeeping barged in at around 930 in the morning without warning. This was a horrible stay. I have never been this disappointed with Holiday Inn or IHG because IHG is my preferred hotel chain. We spent approximately $136/night for that room and I expected so much more from IHG. Would not recommend to anyone!

Clean and quiet room. Typical amenities that one would expect. Staff was rude to my sister, which we didn't appreciate. Otherwise, its a hotel. Great location close to shopping and dining.

I rented this room to have my children a birthday get away and I went to front desk for towels and the worker said she didn’t have any more towels she said don’t you have towels in your room I said I took the two towels to the pool with 4 kids that had to share the two towels she was just standing there arguing with me about how she doesn’t know how to work the washer land how she didn’t have no more towels she said the lady that washes won’t be there until tomorrow. she then finds towels after 30 minutes or so and my kids and I were waiting we head up to our room we eat and then I get in shower and someone came to our room door and started to punch and kick almost kicking the door in terrified my kids.I get out the shower because my kids are hollering for my help and I go to door to see If I could see someone and don’t see anyone so I call the front desk and they say they’re sending security who knows if security ever came up because he never knocked on our door to ask questions. I wanted to leave but didn’t want to put my children in danger so I had no choice but to stay the night because that was safer than to leave not knowing if someone was out there or not so late. I called today to get a refund because that was scary and not safe. But they wouldn’t give me a refund instead they offered me points towards IHG because aim a member this is not ok I wouldn’t stay here ever again ever.
