Hotel is rough, you get what you pay for. The female at front desk when checking in was great! I had a broken toilet in the evening and the male front desk didn’t care. Almost like I was bothering him with the issue. When I went to front desk to get the room key to a new room I confronted him about the issue and he just looked down and flipped through his magazine he was reading.

Room was good but dated. Not any bad overwhelming smells or breaks. Bed was comfy. Tv was small but WiFi was good. Hotel was quiet in a pretty good location. Service at the desk was great and accommodating.

We traveled to OKC for a wedding and booked this location for our 3 day stay. When we checked in we dropped our bags and didn’t return until later that evening. Upon our return is when we discovered the condition of the room. There was a sticky substance on the carpet in many areas and then what appeared to be dog waste stains everywhere. We then pulled out the sofa bed for our daughter to sleep on and it was absolutely disgusting!! Looked as if the mattress was 30 years old and stains everywhere. It was late and agreed we would book another hotel in the morning. Many hotel options in this area and would suggest you steer away from this place!!

Please save yourself the hassle and just find another Holiday Inn because this location is not the one! Out of all the Holiday Inns I’ve had the pleasure of staying at…this is by far the worst! I’m going to give the review in the steps in which the issues occurred: With the opening of the hotel automated doors you get a strong overwhelming chlorine smell all throughout the front lobby area. We were not provided the meal tickets for breakfast. I booked a 1 King 1 Bedroom Suite. I wouldnt call it a suite. Upon entering the room; the cigarette smoke just slaps you in the face in addition to the lingering carpet odor. The crimson colored wallpaper behind the bed was poorly done with some type of visible tan substance smeared across it. The entire room has poor lighting throughout which makes it hard to see/find certain things. The lamp shades are also stained. The curtains were stained, ripped and did not come down far enough to keep the sunlight out of the room. The office desk chair was visibly stained however the kicker is the chair, some type of leather. There was brown food/crumbs residue on the floor where the tile separates the bedroom/carpet. The bathroom: there was dove liquid hand soap at the sink however there was no bar or liquid soap for the shower. There was only shampoo and conditioner. Good thing I always pack my own toiletries. The curtain was also ripped and not long enough to adequately keep the floor dry. There were electrical outlets that did not work. The kitchenette area did not include any dishes, utensils of any kind,...real or disposable. Coffee maker, coffee pods but no cups. The refrigerator temp was warm, not welcoming to guests that may have perishable or cold items needing refrigeration. The restaurant/bar area was not available during our entire stay. The pull-out couch had huge visible blue stains. The room was not stocked with bed linens for the couch. Which was a good thing because who would comfortably lay down on a stained mattress. The mattress on the bed was also checked. We didn’t see any visible stains therefore my 2nd guest slept in the bed with me instead of on the couch. Any and all additional items needed for the room; you must pick up yourself at the front desk (day or night). Why are there no pillows for guests at this location? Upon exiting the room the room door doesn’t close adequately therefore with entering/exiting you must ensure the door is closed/locked before walking away. There are no public ice makers/machines on the 1st, 3rd. You have to go to the 2nd or 4th floor to get ice. And I’m guessing the guests on floors 2 and 4 have to come to the 3rd floor to wash laundry. The kitchen attendant lady is very friendly, however first impressions are everything! She will not let you get past the first couple of tables without interrogating you about your breakfast ticket(s). Yes, I paid extra to have breakfast included in our rate. The plates and silverware were visibly dirty and had to show them to the lady attending the kitchen. No water in the kitchen with the juices you had to get water from a table in the front lobby. There were now paper plates or trays to accommodate guests wanting to take their breakfast back to their room. There are no napkins, paper towels, silverware, cups, plates…nothing in the suites. The breakfast was the same each morning: biscuits, gravy, sausage patty and link (visibly over-cooked), bacon, potatoes and french toast. The french toast looks horrible. I must say on the day we checked out the french toast looked the best it ever looked however we were too afraid to try it. So in addition to paying extra for the breakfast we also spent extra on breakfast when we left the hotel each day. We did NOT rest well during our 4 night stay, We were 12 hours from home and this hotel stay made the OK trip one to remember! Wait but it doesn’t end there……we were charged more than the rate booked. If any of my next travel destinations (business or personal) require a IHG hotel stay……I’ll be making other arrangements!
