There was a mix up with the assigned rooms and we was given a room that someone was already in. For some reason the receptionist wouldn't use the card on file and would only take a card there physically. The reception at check in wasn't friendly and was supposed to inform the manager in the morning about the mix up but they didn't. The manager made it right for us after I talked to them the next morning. One night both of the key cards was deactivated and we had to go back down to reactivate them. The hot tub was out of service the entire week. Breakfast was good. Rooms was clean but had some cosmetic defects like the walls looked like they maybe getting ready for new paint, bath tub stopper needed fixed and tub handel fixture cover fell down but they was functional.
Kamryn is the absolute BEST!
I'm a IHG rewards member and was having a technical meltdown and had to process my companies payroll.
She went out her way to help me. Great hotel great front desk team!

This is the second time we booked at a Holiday Inn Express that advertised a hot tub. And neither one had a functioning one. FALSE ADVERTISING

I had a mediocre experience here. For the positives, the king rooms are large and have a separate living area. I think this helps keep hallway noise from the bedroom area. The blackout curtains are also very good. Despite these positives, I didn't find the hotel environment very good for sleep. First, the air conditioner gives a very distinct and loud click when it turns on. For me, it was very difficult to sleep through this, as it was too loud to be drowned out by my white noise headphones. While they did offer to move me rooms, all rooms had this noticeable click. So, moving would not have resolved this issue, and would have just made extra work for the hotel. Additionally, there is a white flashing light above the bed that is associated with the fire alarm. While I understand hotels need fire alarms, some hotels have a red light on the fire alarm, which is far less offensive and disruptive to sleep than the white flashing light found here. The bed was also pretty worn out and sunken in. I had to strip the sheets and turn everything around to put the pillows at the foot of the bed, otherwise it felt like I was sleeping downhill. Beyond sleep, the cleaning was a mixed bag. Although the bathroom was very clean, other details were missed. For example, there was dust and dirt along the perimeter of the room, and the vents looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. As someone who struggles with allergies, it's critical that in a closed hotel room, the vents are clean. Beyond cleaning, I had a bag of food disappear from my room. I assume it was believed to be trash (since it was in a plastic bag). But a glance inside would have revealed that there was unopened food and medicine inside. I had to spend my time and money replacing these items.

Checked in April 8th, 2026. Given room key, went to room, it was dirty. Many other rooms had signs hanging on them not ready. We were given another room, it had no heat or air and maintenance had left for the day. Mold in window along with drywall coming down. Only one door to access the property (the front), the side doors were out of order for entering. Pool and hot tub were down for maintenance (not stated on IHG site) Outdated furniture in the sitting area of the suite. TV had sound, but no picture. Beds were very comfortable. This property is located in a busy area for conferences with other hotels near by.
For what we paid, definately not worth the stay, unfortunately.
