Booked a room through Expedia and planned on a Saturday night stay for our baseball tournament in Del City. It got rained out so we requested a waiver since we'll have to play again there later. The hotel denied the waiver so we lost any money we spent and our rewards also. Never have had a hotel deny a waiver before... Best Western had been our go-to location to stay. Guess we'll find somewhere else that treats their customers like I'd treat a guest!

Below is my response to Owner's reply. I’m surprised by this response. I did in fact stay at your property and have a confirmed reservation and records to support my review. My feedback reflects my genuine experience during that stay. I have no reason to post a review for a place I didn’t visit. I’m happy to provide proof of my reservation to Google if needed. I hope instead of disputing guest feedback, you take it constructively to improve the experience for future customers.

Response to managements comment to my review... Your apology is not accepted and does absolutely nothing to right the wrong. You, your employees and company as a whole according to Expedia themselves have sole control over the listing and descriptions etc they only handle the pricing. You all did absolutely nothing to address the issue that is a clear case of false advertising and/or bait and switch and I will absolutely not be letting this go as companies like yours who refuse to accept the mistakes they make and to offer reasonable solutions are in desperate need of being held accountable for your actions. We would not have paid for a suite without a hot tub as it was for my chronic pain while on vacation. Otherwise we would have got a standard room at a far cheaper price. The time delay is one very small part of your companies egregious errors and again not then nor now have you or Expedia offered anything to right the wrong. Better business bureau, my local representatives, media outlets and potentially litigation. It has negatively impacted the entire trip and my ability to enjoy with less pain. Make sure when you book through Expedia that you don't select the king suite that specifically states private hot tub as you won't get what you paid for. I spent over an hour in the lobby on the phone with management at both Expedia and Best Western informing them of the error in their listing once we saw the room. They both pointed the finger at each other in who was to blame and neither side had any interest in fixing the false advertising. So we are left with a room that's not the one we paid for. Most people would just take the $50 credit Expedia offered and accept the fact that they were mislead and do nothing about it... That's not me, I will be pursuing litigation for false advertising. This was simple mistake that was easily fixable, instead now we all will have our day in court apparently. Don't let companies take advantage of you. If more people stood up for themselves companies would stop thinking they can just do whatever they want.
