  Ok, this is the second year that we stay in this hotel with our team from church and we absolutely LOVE it. We will definitely be coming back in the next years. The staff is incredible. They are so personal, kind and sweet! I literally cannot express enough how awesome they are. Everything is always so clean. They clean the rooms daily. When we come we have stayed for a week. Breakfast is so good. We looove the breakfast there! Definitely stay there!

  My stay at this hotel was very unpleasant and stressful. First, the check-in process took an unusually long time. I am a platinum member and was not addressed as such. When I finally received my room, I discovered that the carpet was heavily stained and appeared very dirty throughout. Because I arrived late and had already unpacked my belongings, I chose not to request a room change. The following two mornings, the elevators were out of service. As I was staying on the top floor, this created a major inconvenience. Moving to another room was not a realistic option because I had a significant amount of luggage and belongings, and staff were unable to assist with a room transfer while the elevators were unavailable. I understand the need is security and lock the side doors which is normal however to disable key access to the side doors is crazy. One way in access sucked The most concerning issue occurred at checkout. The staff member Brekell, accused me of smoking in my room, which was completely untrue. I immediately invited her to inspect the room, and no evidence of smoking was found. Despite this, I was informed that a decision regarding my deposit would not be made until after the housekeeping team completed their inspection. This left me extremely stressed and worried throughout the day about whether my deposit would be withheld. I did not receive confirmation until approximately 7:00 PM that my deposit would not be charged. Overall, this stay was far below the level of service and professionalism I have come to expect from IHG properties. Between the lengthy check-in, the condition of the room, the elevator outages, and the unfounded smoking accusation, my experience was unnecessarily stressful from beginning to end. Given these circumstances, I would not be returning back to this hotel. The location was great but that's it.

  If a hotel is clean, service can make or break the stay. I booked the same day over the phone, then had to do a reschedule, and the gentlemen over the phone was spectacular. Then we got there and Brandy was amazing. She made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible and she went the extra mile for us. The morning kitchen staff helped clean my toddlers’ yogurt Mona Lisa so that we could keep enjoying our own food. Overall quick stay, but great staff.

  The hotel was okay. But the pool was a nightmare!! There was a baseball team staying at the hotel and they dominated the pool in an unfriendly way. They were loud, rude, hitting others in the face with balls, etc. The parents of the baseball players were outside of a shut door not paying attention. Even though it’s a swim at your own risk, large groups should not be allowed to monopolize the shared pool and be rude.

  I am extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We booked two connecting rooms for my birthday, but after waiting over an hour to check in, we were told they did not even have the rooms we reserved. Instead, they placed us on separate floors and gave us completely different room arrangements than what we paid for. I overlooked the room situation at first and tried to make the best out of it because it was my birthday and I did not want to ruin the trip for everyone. The last straw was the pool area. While our children were swimming, we found feces by the pool and immediately notified the front desk. No one ever came to clean it up. The feces were still there the next morning when my children wanted to go swimming again. It is absolutely unacceptable that a hotel would leave unsanitary conditions like that for over 24 hours. The only reason we stayed was because there were severe storms and a tornado watch in the area, and we did not feel safe driving hours back home with our children. I waited to leave this review because I wanted to see if the hotel would make things right, but they did the exact opposite. Corporate told us the hotel would have to issue the refund. The hotel then lied and said they were “working on it,” but we have heard nothing since. They also claimed they issued us an apology, which was completely untrue. We never received any apology or any real attempt to fix the situation. We paid around $400 for room arrangements we did not receive, dealt with disgusting and unsanitary pool conditions, and were ignored afterward when trying to resolve the issue. The customer service, cleanliness, and dishonesty from management were unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here.
