This is hands down the best TLF I've stayed at stateside. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is gracious, patient and helpful. We asked for a double queen, and what we got could be considered a suite, with two separate bedrooms, kitchenette (with two burners, a dishwasher, microwave, and keurig), and common room with a pullout couch. The bathroom was spacious. It would have been nice to have a hook or two on the door or walls, but that's minor.
Now, if you're looking for the VRBO special treatment with all newly painted walls and a view, this isn't for you. This is a converted barracks on a military instillation; it's not asthetically perfect, and the HVAC is a bit loud. But if you want convenient location for graduation or are PCSing and need a place to stay until a house gets opened up, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with it. It was nice not to have to plan around traffic to get on base, and we didn't have any traffic to speak of to make noise during the night. If I ever have a reason to come back to the Lawton area, I will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the IHG hotel in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The room was clean and seemed recently remodeled, giving it a fresh and modern feel. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the choice of pillows, ranging from firm to soft, catering to different preferences.
The hotel staff was a standout aspect of my stay. They were incredibly polite, upbeat, kind, and cheerful, making the atmosphere very welcoming. The pool out back was a pleasant surprise; it's easy to miss if you don't notice the sign in the elevator, but it was a lovely feature.
One minor issue was the air conditioner, which initially didn't feel strong but worked well once it got going. This is due to an energy-saving feature that turns off the unit when you're out of the room, which is understandable and it did keep the room cool enough throughout the night.
The gym, though small, had a decent selection of equipment, including dumbbells and cardio machines, which I appreciated. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options including oatmeal, bananas, yogurt, boiled eggs, omelets, and muffins. It was also a treat to have Costa coffee, a rare find in the U.S.
There were a couple of downsides. The shower had low water pressure, though the nozzle was good enough to make up for it. More notably, one of the elevators was out of service during my stay and was never fixed, which became problematic when the other elevator also went out temporarily. However, the hotel staff was quick to address the issue.
In conclusion, what you see is what you get with this IHG hotel. While there were a few minor inconveniences, the overall experience was pleasant and worth the stay. I would consider staying here again.
