I am extremely disappointed with my stay at IHG Hotels Fort Sill. The management here seems to operate under the assumption that because guests—mostly service members and families—are required to stay here and have limited alternatives, basic hospitality and room maintenance do not matter.
There are three major areas of concern that completely ruined my stay:
1. Malfunctioning AC & Neglected HVAC:
The room temperature is consistently and uncomfortably high. When I raised this concern, I was dismissively told that the heat on my floor is "just the way it is." Instead of moving me to a cooler room, they simply handed me a desk fan, forcing me to build an improvised ice setup just to cope. On top of that, the HVAC vent is heavily clogged with thick dust, and the thermostat is clearly broken.
2. Poor Sanitation, Structural Damage, & Pest Concerns:
Housekeeping is non-existent. The flooring is covered in sticky spots and visible stains, while the bathroom fixtures are caked in rust and grime. There is also visible structural separation where the door frame meets the ceiling. This neglect is even more alarming given this location's history with venomous pests (brown recluse and black widow spiders). Rather than treating a venomous spider issue professionally, management previously offered cheap, consumer-grade spray. Compounding this, there are no elevated storage areas to keep shoes and luggage safely off the floor.
3. Unacceptable Double Standards in Service:
While my serious maintenance and health complaints were ignored, I personally witnessed a guest relations agent immediately offer to move another customer to a different room just for general discomfort. It is incredibly frustrating to see such inconsistent treatment.
The personnel and military families sent to Fort Sill deserve clean, safe, and comfortable lodging. Management here needs to stop prioritizing financial gain over the basic well-being and respect of its patrons. I highly recommend looking for alternative off-post options if your orders allow it

Got charged an additional $12 in taxes per night that were not listed on the reservation email stating base rate + taxes. So they have hidden charges when booking rate.

The rooms and location were both given four stars, because its on a military installation, and there aren't kitchenettes in every room. Other than that, its pretty nice with a great breakfast!

Nice enough place but you better hope you don't lose power or AC in the dead of summer. It will be DAYS before it gets fixed. Room is 86 degrees and it's been a very devil-may-care response.

Allin Hall. May-June 2026. Clean room. No issues with room service.
Didn't have a remote in the room but the front desk was able to provide one when asked.
Very happy with the response time of maintenance (20 minutes) when I notified the front desk attendant (Alliana?) that a washer and some dryers were having issues. She was very pleasant when taking my "complaint". Honestly all the front desk attendants were very professional dealing with customers from what I observed.
The maintenance crew had the affected washer swapped out in less than an hour and had a plan in place to service the dryers.
Breakfast was always available and on Wednesdays there was a complementary dinner social was quite nice.
9/10. Will probably stay again if TDY. No complaints.
