  When we checked in I took it for granted as an IHG property it would be relatively clean.... Wow, I was wrong. My first thought is that this property be removed from being a IHG property. When we got into the room you could not lock the dead bolt without picking up the door so the deadbolt would actually lock fully. The bed coverings were dirty, the blinds would not close completely. The hallways smelled musty, I walked down the stairs from the 4th floor and found a couple dead roaches. When I got to the 1st floor there were more in the hallway, by the pool and lower restroom and in the entrance. Would you want your customers looking at roaches while checking in? I did not rate the food as the roaches kind of did it for me. Back to the room, the sink stopper was not there, the soap dish was broken and had a sharpe edge which could cut you if not carefully. While checking out I informed the person at the desk he listened to the first couple and then I told him he better get a pen and paper because there was a lot more. He said he would give it to the manager when he got in.. not sure he actually got the info.

  I’m not sure if the other places in El Reno are as bad as this location but I would stay away. Management has completely lost control to the contractors that stay here. The hotel and the parking lot is full of construction crew's and their company trucks. They are all inconsiderate, they back up and block 90% of the sidewalk and will bang the hell out of your personal vehicle with their company truck. The hotel has not a single outside camera, because they don’t care about you. Their vast majority of their income is from these construction companies. Stay away from this place. It was a nightmare for my disabled wife and myself without even as much as a apology from management. Stay away. Stay away !!

  Fairly clean, decent breakfast, decent bed but pillows go flat quickly. Stayed for 3 days, room was not serviced at all, no towels, no trash service, no freshly tidied room. There is a sundry or “mini-market”, but it was poorly stocked. Asked the front desk if they had bottled water since there were none in store, nope. Definitely not the service and experience we are accustomed to from Holiday Inn. Theres no need for the “we’re sorry we didn’t meet your expectations and we’ll address it with the team” lip service reply to this review, just make it better for the next guest.

  Location is great. People are great. Bed is hard, not enough towels for 2 people to take a shower twice unless you reuse your towels. Hard to do when they are still wet. The hallways and elevator are extremely hot for summer. You will break a sweat getting to your room if its at the end of the hall. The biggest issue I have is when I pulled the cover back to get in bed there were blood stains on the blanket. I checked the rest of the bed and it was clean. I honestly don't know how they missed the blood because it was not just a small dot....it was pretty good size. I pulled it off and just slept with the sheet. But I probably won't stay here again. There are too many other hotels in the area to sleep on hard beds.

  Unfortunately my stay was marred by the condition of the room. The king bed was rock hard, the carpet disgustingly dirty, and the door on the refrigerator cabinet was dragging on the carpet. Water damage was evident in the bathroom ceiling and the window was quite sun damaged making it difficult to see out. The luggage carts are also disgustingly dirty and the laundry was out of order. The breakfast was as expected for a HIE and this was the only good thing about my stay. Unfortunately the rest of the stay was definitely subpar for HIE. I won't stay here again.
