The motel seems safe but there are a lot of workers staying there. It wasn't our first choice but the La Quinta across the street tried to charge us more than the confirmed rate. The gentleman at Best Western gave us the member rate and treated us with respect. The room was very clean and we felt comfortable.

Exceeded expectations! We stayed here to avoid the high prices at the casino and were so glad we did. The room was recently updated with a huge TV and was very clean. But the real winner was the breakfast—biscuits and gravy were 10/10. Friendly staff and easy parking right at our door. We will definitely be back.

The room was clean, well‑maintained, and comfortable, which made my stay very enjoyable. The bed was cozy, the room was quiet, and everything was laid out in a practical way. I appreciated having modern conveniences like free Wi‑Fi and a large flat‑screen TV, which made relaxing easy after a long day. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room fresh, and overall it felt like a comfortable place to unwind rather than just a place to sleep. For the price, the room exceeded my expectations.

We had stayed here many times before with very little issues except for the rooms sometimes being a little dirty. Staff was always nice to us but the manager when there is extremely rude now and targets individuals including an employee of mine because he paid with a chime card twice and they didn't like it so they held $75. He had already stayed 5 nights before using same card and they did not charge this extra $75 deposit. Only this manager did on his last night. Deposit is understandable but why charge it only on the last night and only because you are using certain card. We never had to pay this before ourselves. They didn't even check the room next day both times just held it because he said he could. They did not make him aware of the $75 hold before before charging for the room that last night and he did not have to pay it the nights before. He is very rude guy. I send many employees here and we will not be returning.

I deleted my previous review to write an updated version. In March I stayed here 1 night. I was told there was no deposit unless I went thru a third party. Until they saw my card I was paying with. They said since it was a chime card "it's considered a gift card" buddy it's 2026, Chime is not a gift card or prepaid. It's an FDIC bank now. I get paid on it and deposit checks. I didn't argue. I paid it tho. Also that night I was overcharged 10 bucks for the single king room. When I approached him later in the night asking as to why that was he stated there are 4 different king rooms. The one I had was a handicap accessible room and online it was $12 dollars exactly less then what I paid. This was them being greedy and thinking I would not notice. I didn't make a big deal. I just wrote my bad review and checked out. They never checked the room. Just refunded the deposit. So what was even the point??? I have been to hundreds of BW locations and never was charged a deposit just because it was a chime card. It's a VISA. BW corporate said that's not a policy. Its either there is a deposit or there isn't. Then 4 weeks later I returned to Durant for work. There was no other place available for a reasonable price so I decided to chance it once more and give them another shot, and the first 3 nights went great, what do you know, I used the same card I did back in March and NO deposit AT ALL. It wouldn't of been a big deal. I was prepared to pay it this time but it only confirmed what I knew before is that the Indian guys up front the last time just charged it because they think people with chime cards are poor and going to cause damage. Even tho I make great money and have two bank cards and that got confirmed even more tonight when I extended one more night. I phoned the desk just before 11AM and asked to extend just as I had the previous days. This time it was the manager and he asked me to come down this time. When I got down to the front desk. He charged the $96 before even telling me there was a $75 deposit on the next charge that I had to pay or I had to vacate within 20 minutes. EXCUSE ME!? HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE. You didn't charge me that fee the first 3 nights. Now all of a sudden you are?? He blamed it on his employees of course and didn't take responsibility. He said it was his system telling me to pay the deposit cause of the card. The SAME one I used before with no deposit. I showed my PNC bank card and asked if there would be a deposit and he said there still would, so now you are discrimating against me or retaliating?? Which is a civil matter and i urge him to research both of those terms. Then he said he read my review from 3 weeks ago and so that tells me it is retaliation. He saw there was no deposit the previous nights and still insisted to charge it AFTER I paid the room for the night. I am a district manager for a gas station chain. We have multiple stores in North Texas and Oklahoma. My boss sends his employees up to this place often and reimburses us for the room, but if this guy tries to hold my $75 hostage, a deposit is not reimbursed to us obviously. Which I 100% am certain he will try to do as retaliation now. My coworkers have stated they were never charged an extra $75 deposit and also have used Chime and said it was the same indian manager that checked them in. They have also stated they will not return. My boss said that made zero sense to charge the deposit on my last night when i wasnt charged it before after $500 for 4 nights. Only when he saw my face, then he did it while smiling and boasting about how he has good reviews and doesnt care what i do. This is terrible customer service. BW corporate stated there was no $75 deposit unless booked with a third party which i booked thru BW. This BW franchise just lost thousands a month of our business and the third chance to get my business over a $75 charge and his ego. They even admitted to over charging for the first stay back in March. Beware this place likes to rip off loyal customers. Not again.
