  My Husband is a truck driver , in his company truck and a IHG member, he stopped by this location to see if he could get a cup of coffee, the lady that work there wouldnt even let him in the door so He went across the street , while over there waiting for a cup of coffee, the lady at this Holiday Inn calls across the Street and racially profiles my husband by calling him "sketchy" do you know what "sketchy means , it means someone who seems untrustworthy, suspicious, or potentially dangerous. Which does not in any way describe him, he had on work attire and in his work truck , what made him sketchy to her was that he was black. That is not the way you treat people and that was very uncomfortably for him to hear someone label him as such. Unprofessional!

  Very clean, very accommodating and a great breakfast. Very friendly staff at check in and out and gal taking care of breakfast was hardworking kind. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a while.

  My husband and I booked a reservation at this location while driving across the country last weekend. Do to road construction it was extremely hard to get to the hotel, it took us down a dark back road and we drove through what felt like someones backyard. We were both extremely frustrated upon arrival. Pull into the hotel and the parking lot is empty. Being older and able to run like we could, it made us uneasy. When I walked in it was so quiet and only one woman working. She was locking the doors as we arrived. I told her it was a little scary as far as how we had to go to get to the place, appeared there were no other customers, and how earily quite it was in the place. The woman working was polite and professional her name is Tracie Hankins. I had her write her full name down when we checked out. From the start Tracie did everything she could to make us happy, I'll admit, that's not easy to do. She did it and also Gave us hope that employee's like her are still around, though very rare! That woman is not paid enough, I don't know what she gets paid but I know it's not enough! I got to meet and speak with the owner of the hotel the next morning and told him that same thing. I have no doubt this review would have went the other way if not for her! She let me park my car under the awning so I wouldn't worry about it. There were bugs everywhere outside, she said they were attracted to the lights. (We don't have that in California) I made a fuss about it. We check in get to our rooms and call for room service and with a smile she happily brings everything we ask for. An hour later I go out to my car and that woman is outside scrubbing the entryway. She said I looked at it through your eyes and you were right, this entry way needs a good cleaning. Right then and there my whole view of the place completely changed! I stood out there and visited with Tracie for quite sometime and she is an absolute doll and a damn good employee! I called for room service a couple more times and she was always happy to accommodate! To see a place get a complaint and immediately do everything possible to make it right says so much about how the business is ran. Scrubbing the concrete entrance is not an easy job and 99% would not have rolled eyes and not even thought about it again, because why should they? They don't own it, not their problem! This woman did what she could to make us comfortable and she tried her best to fix every complaint we had. She turned what started as a horrible first impression with a very bad taste in our mouths, an extremely good one along with a life lesson. Tracie is a reflection of how the owners conduct business and how much they care about the happiness of their guests and they will have my business forever now! I definitely recommend Holiday Inn Express in Clinton Oklahoma! Also give Tracie a raise because I know she doesn't make near enough. I have never been so impressed by someone as I was with her. That goes for my husband as well. The owner was very kind as well and it's a great atmosphere and you can feel the love they have for the guests from the top to the bottom, it says so much. I just can't recommend this hotel strong enough!

  The staff made this stay the Best! Tracy went above and beyond at everything she did. Definitely knew how to make it all about guest experience! Very rare these days

  Experience was really nice and stress free. Stacy took really good care of me while I was there. Room was very nice and tidy, full of fresh towels and everything I needed. Would definitely return to this hotel
