NO in room coffee. It's apparently a way to be environmentally friendly. You don't HAVE to use kurig pots Nowhere did I see mention of no in room coffee. No waffle maker, I didn't realize Holliday inn was pancakes only. This was a great disappointment for my granddaughter. Room was clean, beds comfortable minus the 200 degree micro fiber sheet, what staff we interacted with were polite and friendly

Just a quick sleepover, I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed myself.

Do not stay at this hotel! Traveling from 2 hours away for softball tournament that was cancelled due to weather and would not reimburse the room despite being told by numerous staff members that the room would be reimbursed. Terrible business model and will never give business to this hotel in the future.

This was an unusual experience for me in an IHG. I had to switch rooms two times and I never ask to switch rooms unless it's really bad. First room was right next to the elevator, on the first floor. I have specifically asked to never be put on the first floor. I do not sleep well there. I was told it's in my notes by many IHG members. So I don't know why Blackwell didn't get the memo. Second room had no lamp at the desk, or plugs for anything. I have a lot of video transferring I do at the end of every drive. So I had to go back down and ask to be moved again. Grrrrrr..... Brecken was nice enough about each change. Never gave me attitude. However, he never asked to help me move any of my things. I had just drove in from Durango Colorado and I was exhausted and still had 2 hours of video transfer to do. It was 8:30 by the time I got settled. Ick! Added complaint: I just got an IHG credit card because it bumps you to Platinum elite, which I thought meant I would get a little extra something... It says I get automatic room upgrades if available. It was obvious the hotel was not full, yet, sure did not feel like I was any more special here at Blackwell. Not sure the IHG credit card was worth it. However, once I did get to a good room, everything was as expected for an IHG. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and everything felt safe. But... Whomever scheduled my room needs a little more training when it comes to making sure you treat platinum elite members a little bit better, ie not putting them on the first floor right smack next to the elevator. That can't be your best room in your hotel? So please do better as those credit cards are at 27% interest. I likely will not stay here again unless I have to for logistics.
