  I arrived at the IHG property in Wooster around 5 pm on what was clearly one of their busiest weekends (overflow from Canton events). Check-in time is listed as 3 pm. I fully expected the room might not be ready and was prepared to wait a reasonable amount of time. What I got instead was a 45-minute estimate that stretched into nearly two full hours of waiting in the lobby. During that time I watched multiple other guests check in and receive rooms while I continued to wait. I am Platinum Elite. Status apparently counted for nothing. When the room was finally ready, there was zero recognition of my status and I wasn’t even given the correct key envelope. Just a generic handoff after a long, unnecessary delay. That same week I stayed at four other IHG hotels. This was by far the worst service and the only property that treated a higher-tier member with what felt like complete indifference. The delay itself was frustrating. The lack of any acknowledgment or priority for Platinum was disrespectful. I contacted IHG Customer Care, who opened a case and said the local management team would follow up. It has now been more than three business days with no response from the hotel. I am requesting appropriate compensation for the wasted time and the complete failure to recognize elite status. I travel frequently with IHG and have had consistently better experiences at other properties. This one stands out for all the wrong reasons. Avoid if you value your time or your status.

  This hotel is immaculate! Everyone was so kind and helpful, but the two that stuck with me were Patti and Sam! Sam was so professional and personable when checking me in! He went out of his way to make EVERYONE feel welcomed and comfortable, as i noticed he treats everyone who enters in with respect dignity! Patti helped me the following morning by assisting in my check out process! She was also very personable and professional. This place deserves ALL five stars for a reason! keep it up!

  We stayed here while traveling. It's a little off the beaten path from I-71 but it was worth it. The rooms were clean, the hotel itself was clean overall. The night lady was sweet and so nice and the morning staff was just as great. The coffee is great and the breakfast was really good. The area has plenty of food choices, if you want something quick or go and sit down for food. And the area is quiet. It's not loud. On our way back from our trip we be staying here again.

  Couldn’t check in when we were suppose to, had to come back hours later. Everything else was find. Continental Breakfast was very good.

  I had an issue with being charged twice and the general manager was able to help me out so quickly! The location is only three stars because it's Wooster and you can't help that it's the middle of nowhere! But everything else was great and the help I received was appreciated greatly!
