I do not recommend this hotel. Read the reviews for this hotel before staying. We arrived and our first room stunk bad. Staff put us in another room that did have an odor as well but it was tolerable. Our shower drain was clogged and half way into taking a shower our feet were covered in water. The toilet paper kept falling of the holder. You can hear every little thing from the hallway. The free breakfast is mediocre. All the complaints we had were in reviews by other people who stayed there. The hotel management does read these reviews but does nothing to fix the problems. These problems are not listed on the booking to make us aware of these problems within the rooms. Cons: Not worth the price Rooms have a bad odor Our shower drain was clogged Pros: location to downtown Vermilion

Room was clean and comfortable. Tammy in the food service was great. Also, Donna at the front desk was super and Justin was friendly and helpful.

After reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive especially because I am very picky about hotel cleanliness and amenities. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was at this hotel! Starting with the kind and helpful staff like Justin. Honestly every single staff member was so sweet and ready to help make our stay more pleasant. The beds and pillows were extremely clean and comfortable. The bedspreads were white and impeccable. We needed extra towels and the maid cleaning the rooms the next morning were so kind and ready to help us with whatever we needed for the room. The breakfast was actually very good with many options of eggs and excellent breakfast sausages. The coffee was perfect as well. I can say that we were so happy and comfortable at our 2 night stay here. The hospitality of EVERY SINGLE PERSON working at the hotel was remarkable!!! I appreciate that so much and felt the kindness by everyone there. Very professional, courteous and on top of it all. Quick and efficient check in and check out also. Thank you for a lovely stay here at this hotel! Its very hard to find clean, nice rooms near Cedar point and this was the best place! Very safe area, quiet rooms, peaceful and happy place to stay. Would definitely highly recommend and would come back.
