  The is hotel is disgusting. The room is absolutely filthy. I don’t need fancy amenities or new accommodations, but at the very least I expect the floors to be swept and vacuumed and there not to be boogers on the walls. There is so much hair, dirt, and so many dead bugs I can’t even believe someone approved the room for occupancy.

  The hotel has free bowling next door, friendly staff, free but very basic breakfast, free ice cream social in evening and a great location in vicinity of the park. Room was not cleaned up and beds were not made, towels picked but not replaced for two straight days which was the most disturbing - I have never seen this at even smaller motels. The phone was not even connected to the wire when we decided to call for help.

  If I could give this hotel more than five stars, I would. I’ve traveled extensively for work over the years and have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this is easily one of my all-time favorites—not just within 50 miles of Cedar Point, but anywhere. We stayed here during our Cedar Point trip, and honestly, the hotel itself became part of the vacation. There are so many complimentary family activities that it never felt like we were just staying somewhere to sleep. They offer free bowling, an ice cream social, pizza nights, and so many other fun activities that kept everyone entertained. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a great experience. One thing I really appreciated was that the hotel has something for everyone. It’s incredibly family-friendly while also offering a connected bar and restaurant where adults can relax and unwind after a long day. It strikes the perfect balance. We came for Cedar Point, but we’re already talking about coming back during the winter just to enjoy everything this hotel has to offer. That’s something I’ve never said about a hotel before. If you’re looking for a place to stay near Cedar Point—or honestly just looking for an amazing family getaway—stop searching and book this hotel. You won’t regret it. Highly, highly recommended!

  The woman who handled check in was very sweet and friendly! Great location for the baseball tournament my son was in, food, stores, etc. The ice cream social was nice and my kids loved it! The room smelled like urine when we walked in..we were already advised the hotel was sold out for the night so no new room was available. We were only staying for 1 night so just dealt with it. When I checked out, I told the front desk that the room needed cleaned really well because of the smell. He simply smiled at me and said yeah, okay. By no means was he rude, but a simple “Im sorry about that” would have been great…and truly, I just hope they actually clean the room.

  I stayed with my mom and 5 kids on 7/27 for a one night stay while waiting to check into our room at Great Wolf Lodge. Unfortunately at 4am was awaken with 2 other children being bitten by bed bugs. Although, the hotel did refund my cost of stay, we discarded roughly $1000.00 worth of clothing and property due to the risk of carrying unwanted guest anywhere else with us. This of course isn't the hotels care or concern and the Manager Karen stated no other guest has ever had any reported issues. I have several photos of the infestation which is unlikely this was never reported. Will be contacting the local health department regarding this issue as its a public health concern.
