- SKSamantha KnappSep 19, 20261.0The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that it’s close to Cedar Point, which makes the location convenient. Unfortunately, we’ve now had two terrible experiences here. Last year, my husband and children arrived to check in after the park closed. When they entered their assigned room, they found someone already inside who appeared to be intoxicated. The front desk apologized and said they didn’t know who was in the room, but the hotel was full and they had nowhere else for my family to stay. My husband had to drive 2½ hours home around midnight with our children. We decided to give the hotel another chance this year, only to discover that our shower didn’t even have a shower curtain. We couldn’t use it without flooding the bathroom. Considering how much guests pay for these rooms, basic necessities and dependable room assignments should not be an issue. The convenience of being near Cedar Point does not make up for the repeated problems and lack of acceptable service. We will not stay here again.

The hotel is spotless clean, has fantastic service and the available hot pizza in the lobby from next door is an incredibly good idea for the late dinner after the park. We were also offered an hour of bowling on the house from the Thirst Pony next door. All in all great place to stay at a reasonable price if you're going to Cedar Point.

The room and the hotel were very clean and updated and the halls were inviting with great lighting. Bed, bedding and pillows were super comfy. Breakfast was very good with eggs, pork and turkey sausage, sausage biscuits with gravy, self serve fresh made pancakes, cinnamon rolls, all the other regular breakfast foods, and fresh ground coffee available all day and night. They had free ice cream socials nightly and even a free bowling voucher at Thirsty pony. And it's right outside of Cedar Point.
