  We have been coming here for over a decade now. Pool and hot tub were very clean despite being very very busy with dozens of teenagers! Even when the hotel was sold out during week for sports events happening nearby. We like it here cause it’s far enough but close enough at same time. Definitely was a busy place that week. Despite that they still kept up as they could. Breakfast was slightly under par for usual for this location, again they were really busy and maybe ran out of things before we woke up. In evening I think coffee might have not so fresh as previous visits. Did notice same two employees seemed to be solely working front desk. Will visit again in future. A- visit this time, kids had a blast as usual.

  Stayed here with our daughter and one of her friends to visit Cedar Point. Further from Sandusky but I chose this hotel mostly because of the hot tub/jacuzzi and the indoor pool. The cost was still less than most other hotels that didn't have these amenities - although they probably have to be more competitive being further from Sandusky (about 30 minutes to Cedar Point). Breakfast had a decent selection with two waffle makers, juice, coffee, and two hot options such as an egg dish and sausage. Rooms were sufficient for a regular hotel and the staff were pleasant.

  Great option for families on a budget. Facility is a bit dated, but overall, great customer service and excellent breakfast for the value.

  ​I recently stayed at the Best Western in Norwalk, arriving after a long day of travel, only to find that there was no hot water available for a shower. When I contacted the front desk, I was assured that the "owner was aware" and that a plumber would be arriving shortly. Unfortunately, this timeline was misleading. The issue remained completely unresolved by the time I checked out the following morning. I would have greatly preferred direct and honest communication regarding the repair timeline rather than empty reassurances. ​The disappointment continued at the breakfast buffet, which was severely lacking basic staples, such as butter. While the breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly and apologetic, one employee candidly mentioned, "I know many items are missing, but this is what they gave us to work with." ​Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. While the frontline employees are pleasant, it is evident that the property suffers from a severe lack of ownership investment and support, which directly and negatively impacts the guest experience. For a similar price point, there are significantly better accommodation options available in the area.

  When we entered our room, we found the blankets and pillow cases dirty. It looked like the room was minimally cleaned. I told front desk. He wasnt eager to help. He went up to the room and did a not-so-half-ass job. He never replaced the bedding. I called down to request him bring me the bedding. He brought up sheets, no blankets. I went down to the laundry room myself and got blankets and made the bed. The hotel is extremely outdated for the price and not very clean in ANY area. I cant comment on breakfast because seeing how unclean the place was, I was not ABOUT to put any of the food in my mouth. The cleanliness, customer service and hotel updates could all use a whole lot of improvement.
