  This hotel needs major TLC. The entrance off the main road to enter the hotel parking lot is torn up. Upon check in and getting into our room we encountered very odd odors throughout the hotel so much so it was irritating my children and grandmother's throats. The pool area felt gross it was cramped and there is obvious water damage on the ceiling as well as a huge horribly done patch job which has imprints of the bottom of shoes all within it. Very odd. The bathroom door doesn't latch and swings open. There is little to no insulation between rooms..well past 11 and it sounds like a wrestling match around us.

  Worst holiday inn I've ever stayed at we had few choices on the road for work so I thought we'd give it a try.... wish we would have kept driving. Trash was over flowing out front which I should have seen and ran then but we stayed. You can hear everything in the rooms even when I walked around my room you could hear the floor and walls creeking. The people above my room sounded like they were going to come crashing thru my ceiling from just walking in their room. Normally when I stay at Holiday Inn the rooms are pretty quite but these seem to lack that found it almost impossible to sleep. When I got to breakfast at 7am it was completely wiped out and there was a long delay in the next batch of food to come out so we just left. Even checkout was terrible Noone at the desk sign said be back in a few mins we waited over 10mins and none ever came back I just left my room keys and left. If you're considering staying here do yourself a favor and just sleep in your car or keep driving before wasting money with them. How holiday inn puts their name on this building is beyond me 🤮

  We were in town for a softball tournament. Our group booked at least 18 rooms. Not one room didn’t have issues!! This place needs some MAJOR work. Nearly every room had some sort of water damage from leaky toilets or leaky roof. My bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and I could hear an active water drip at night. Our bed sheets constantly felt wet from the humidity in the room even with the AC running. I had to go out and buy air fresheners just to try to cut the mildew smell. We went TWO days without hot water, even after complaining to the front desk. Finally on day three a plumber was called and fixed the issue. The lobby constantly smelled of sulfer or sewer water and was so humid you could barely stand to sit there. Our room door didn’t shut completely unless you lifted up hard on the door handle to pull it back into the lock. If you are thinking about staying here, just don’t. Hotel staff did not seem to care when concerns were raised. I even called corporate and was offered IHG points…. But due to this experience, I will likely never stay at a Holiday Inn again. If it wasn’t for our daughter wanting to stay with her team, and the shortage of hotel room availability in the area, we would have left on the first night. The pictures on the website must be from the first day they were open… because it in no way looks like this now.
