  Rude front desk clerk at check-in. Ice machine was broken on our floor and had a sign saying see front desk. Went down to see her and she scoffed and said the one on 2nd floor works. If you don't want to be bothered, change your sign to say "go to 2nd floor". Chaise in room was stained. Lights in bathroom automatically shutoff if you don't move.

  I do not recommend this hotel. We were in the area for a wrestling tournament. We had reservations at another place. When we arrived the pool was closed. We had grandchildren who planned to swim. So we could only find available rooms at this Holiday Inn. Upon arrival i immediately noticed the very dirty front door windows and lobby windows. A very bad first impression. As we entered our room it was very noticeable that cleanliness was not their top priority.

  The hotel was remodeled and looked nice. Breakfast was good and attendant was sweet and kind. Hotel is convenient on/off highway. BUT would not recommend staying there. What I would recommend is that the hotel evaluate and hire a new cleaning service and have higher expectations. The rooms, (we had 2), bathrooms, elevator, hallways…all filthy. My room had stink bugs all over it. Tile floor was dirty. Crumbs and other dirt etc on the carpet. Windowsill had dirt and dead bugs. Bathroom tub - squishy and felt like I was gonna fall thru the floor. My parents found dirty towels hanging on the back of their door. Like I said, the remodel was well done but if you like a clean hotel room, this place is not for you, sadly…

  I only put a two-star for location because there is not much around here. The lady at the front desk was exceptionally nice. Nothing extraordinary about the room, just a normal room. A plus is that the window opens, not all the way obviously, but it does open about 6 inches. The bathroom door sticks to the floor, so it does not close all the way without force The place is due for an upgrade, but overall it's a decent place for a night or two
