  Rooms looked semi recently updated. We got a king which was very comfortable. It's right off the highway and it was easy the next morning to get back on the road. We checked in super late so we skipped breakfast so can't talk on that. Pool looked clean, honestly the whole property felt clean. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and fun folks. Only negative was being so close to the highway you could kind of hear it. However the A/C unit had a constant fan setting which adequately drowned out the noise. It wasn't bad by any means but if your are someone who needs silence you'll want to consider that. Would recommend. Going to keep them in mind for future trips out east. Peace.

  So I was not expecting much since we just needed a hotel for the night, but did I get wowed! Like location 10/10 it's right off the highway, Amanda, at the reception desk was so welcoming and kind and answered all our questions and more. The room was also spacious, updated and cozy.

  Room was extremely damp when I entered and smelled like dirty feet. Everything felt sticky and damp. Even the sheets felt wet. There was visible mold on the a/c unit, on the sprinkler, and on the baseboards. The room reeked of mold. I'm allergic to mold so that made for a difficult night. I was only staying for a quick overnight without time or energy to go searching for another hotel, so I had to make do. I would not stay here again.

  August 9th we booked a room with our grandchildren. The room had a musty odor, floors felt damp, even the sheets felt a little damp. We thought maybe the sheets weren't fully dried and the floor we thought maybe wet from previous guests from the pool. By morning, we had found we had roach guests in that room. My asthma had flared up during the night, ot knowing why. By morning, I did.I am allergic to roaches. We hurried upand packed our stuff, and didn't even eat breakfast. I showed the front desk one that we killed. She said she'd talk to the manager and try to get me a discount and send me a receipt in the email. The following day, I called as I got no receipt. They said they credited me thirty dollars, and they would email me a receipt. I asked if I had to exterminate my house who was paying for it. She put me on hold, then came back saying the hotel had terminax there and there were no roaches. So they were aware of the roaches, and that was the wetness, we were feeling on the floor. Hopefully, we do not get roaches in our home because they clearly don't have the guests as a priority. Their pool is also breaking up on the bottom. So there's a lot of rocks in there. The doors don't close all the way unless you slam it. It was a horrible stay and we won't be back.

  We always stay at Holiday Inn properties. We arrived very late and was checked in promptly. We got to our room and there was a very strong cleaning smell in the room. Made it very hard to sleep and smell was in the sheets. Found out no hair dryer in room so had to call front desk. Safe did not work so had to put things in our car during day. Water pressure was terrible. Toilet handle was loose and afraid that would be our next problem. Not what we typically experience. We will go elsewhere next time while in this area.
