  They're in the process of updating or at least painting. The building seems like an older building that's been somewhat updated.

  Maybe I have come to expect to much from IHG hotels. This location is older, which is ok, but it is not well kept up. I have been in many older IHG hotels that have been clean and upkept, this is not one of them. I have also ate many Holiday Inn breakfasts, which I think is one of the better hotel breakfasts out there, but not at this location. Biscuits were so hard I couldn't eat it, gravy was not good, and sausage tasted like it was old. I ended up eating elsewhere on the road, I was honestly concerned if I ate the food here I would be sick.

  STAY AWAY! Bed bugs and they do not care! My mother, son, and myself stayed at this hotel in June of 2026 for 2 nights. On the day we checked out my mother noticed a lot of bug bite marks on her arms, but we figured it could be mosquitos or something else. We had a 2 Queen bed room and she slept in one bed while I shared the other with my son. By the time my mother made it home she had bits all over her body that began to welt and some filled with pus. She went to the doctor and they confirmed she was having a reaction to bed bug bites. I contacted the hotel to let them know - my mother owns AirBnB's and understands bed bugs can happen. So we wanted to report it so they could treat the room and take it out of service. I did not hear back from the manager until the next day and by then she began to deny there were ever bed bugs. She claims she had Orkin come out and they couldn't find anything. I asked for a copy of the report from Orkin. The report stated Orkin had a standing visit for the day they came out and were set to treat the hotel for pests and to inspect certain rooms - the room we were in was added I believe at the last minute. According to them there were no bed bugs. I told her I find that hard to believe given my mothers condition. I sent them the report from the doctor as well as numerous photos of my moms arms, face, and back that had bite marks all over - all of this was sent within days of us checking out. They continued to deny it and said they would not take the room out of service. I contacted the health department who sent out a Fire Marshall - welp I got the report back from them and it reads, "Orkin was just leaving the facility and had been there to conduct another inspection on the room. The room is scheduled to begin the treatment process for bed bugs and will remain out of service until treatment is completed." So the room did in fact have bed bugs and yet we have received no follow-up phone call, apology, NOTHING from the general manager. I have seen other reviews on Travelocity of other guests dealing with pests in their rooms and another bed bug reported incident from 2025. I would recommend staying elsewhere. They obviously do not inspect these rooms enough and do not even have mattress protectors on the beds. We are not upset that there were bed bugs - it happens. but the lack of response, lack of accountability, from the general manager is truly appalling. She wouldn't even take the room out of rotation upon hearing possibility of bed bugs. She clearly does not care about the health and safety of the guests.
