  Waited for about 50 minutes to check in. The front desk said he will come get us when the room was ready. We were just sitting in the lobby in the line of the sight to the front desk. They never come get us, we have to go ask to be checked in. Bad experience with the service, will never come back to this Holiday Inn.

  For the last 5 years holiday inn express has been the only hotel me and my 3 kids stay at. For two reasons and 2 reasons only. The pool and the great breakfast they have. A room with 5 people and we only got 2 towels and they had no pool towels Very disappointing. Couldn't buy any snacks because they didn't have change. Lastly the breakfast was the worse I ever seen in 5 years staying at the holiday inn. First they had fake sausage. It blew my mind because more people eat regular sausage than some fake sausage. No muffin varieties, no yogurt varieties, and the bagel options were horrible. So glad we only stayed one night and didn't waste anymore money. Will never stay here again, now I know.

  As a IHG member this might be the worst holiday inn Ive been to. I went here for 2 nights since its close to King's Island. They had no 2 bed-rooms, so I had to get a 1 bed and 1 couch pullout room with my 2 friends. This was fine, and the pullout was honestly comfortable. Though the pullout had many reddish brown stains. i went to the desk to tell them but they just gave us new sheets. We used this and didn't complain further. My other friend who got a room also, the front desk person told him they didn't trust that my friend actually got the room, then he had to show the staff his bank and everything to prove he did book it or pay it already. Another staff member came then said the other person was wrong and that my friend was fine. While i was waiting by the front desk, i saw that there were dead bugs and a huge dead moth. I havent seen dead bugs at any other location or anything that would make me complain. The two nights went by, and my 2nd morning waking up, I kept hearing people and kids in the hallway and these 2 people (maybe teens or young adults, NOT kids), were running through the halls yelling at every door to 'WAKE UP" at 6 am. Unfortunately I woke up to this and was really annoyed. It was almost $600 for two nights but it was the worst location Ive been to.

  The room was horrible. On line the amenities included a kitchen in room. A mini microwave and mini fridge and a coffee maker does not equal kitchen. Especially in comparison to other suite hotels I’ve stayed in. Extremely strong mildew odor as soon as I opened the door to my room. Couldn’t sleep and I had allergic respiratory reactions all night. I booked it for a week initially, at check in I changed it to 2 nights, I checked out after 1 night. I won’t stay here again.
