  I'm here for former nights so far it has been excellent I think they've actually redone all the rooms it's like a mini studio apartment very clean

  Attempted to make a reservation online at approx 1am and was unable to do so. I called the 1-800 number listed and reached a representative who advised me that the room was no longer available after keeping me on hold for a lengthy time. The representative started giving me other options of hotels I had never heard of at rates of only $89, I politely declined and thanked him for his time and attempt to book the Candlewood. He became very angry making remarks like “why are you calling the reservation desk then” “don’t call back we aren’t the yellow pages” I will never under no circumstances ever consider a candlewood hotel again!!

  About 10 minutes from kings island and such an easy drive. Our lovely host Shaylin checked us into a beautiful and clean room, so quickly I didn’t even get the chance to say a proper thank you! The bed was so cozy, the pillows and sheets were so soft. The cleaning team was immaculate. I will definitely be staying here again whenever in town!

  Stayed 3 nights, went to Cincy Open and Kings Island (both were awesome). The people at the front desk were very, very nice! However, the hotel and its rooms are outdated, and poorly maintained. First room AC was leaking, and the carpet was soaked with water (probably from it), humidity was higher than outside and it felt very stuffy in the room. You could tell they tried to fix the AC but it was definitely not working properly, yet they still used the room to house guests… We stayed a night and then moved into a different room. Humidity still an issue with the AC but better than the first room. The cleanliness is not good (ants), door would not close in the bathroom, carpet hasn’t been cleaned in ages, and the smell of bleach or perfume is everywhere. On the plus side, bed was comfy and room was spacious.

  We booked a 35 room, room block here for our wedding, and with the sole exception of our helpful coordinator, the entire experience was a huge disappointment. Multiple rooms had visible mold that forced our guests to check out in the middle of the night and go to another nearby hotel, persistent flooding issues, and a strange odor throughout. To top it off, the staff couldn't even manage to hand out our welcome bags to guests as requested. Given the size of the room block, this level of service and maintenance is completely unacceptable.
