  Dear Holiday Inn New London Team, I wanted to extend my sincere appreciation for the outstanding hospitality we received during our unannounced one‑night stay on 8–9 August 2026. Ms. Jessica was truly exceptional. She welcomed us warmly, quickly found a room that met our requests, and took the time to ensure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtful guidance on where to go in town for a meal and a beer was spot‑on, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening thanks to her recommendation.   if i could give 0 stars i would. stay in room 233 if you want to experience black mold, the putrid smell of mildew, rat droppings, possible roach poop, ac lined with mold & cant forget the new strain of covid they’re most likely growing. unfortunately the front desk will lie to your face & say the black mold is not back mold & it’s actually from someone lighting the room on fire when this is a very strict non smoke hotel? management was supposed to resolve the issue within 24 hours but i never received a call. waste of money unless you like sleeping with company (aka bugs & rats) they also don’t care if your asthmatic breathing in black mold & bug poop they will take your money regardless

  I found the toilets in the bathrooms to be smaller then usual. No channel listing in the room. Remote for TV was not great. Continental Breakfast at 6a.m. was not the best. Lots of noise during night hours.

  What a disappointment. I been staying at this hotel for the last 3 years to go to a convention with my husband. Great service those years. The service has gone done hill. I arrived July 2nd for 3 nights. We arrived late to a room that had dog poop in the desk room dried up. I have a video. I informed the hotel they moved us 2 hours later. We kept the key to the other room. They never asked for it. My husband went in every day and no one clean it up. Saturday we did not have internet and TV service off and on Sunday our last day we spoke to a lady at the desk for checkout. Expressed our concerns. We was told Hilton is taking over. And she been working 1 week. And so... she let us know she will do her best about getting a discount and points since we are IHG members haven't received anything. I believe mistakes happens, but this is not looking good, the pool look so undesirable to have my late swim thats all I will say. So im very disappointed cause this was a really nice place, very clean and well taken care of.

  Oversized Parking lot ! A VERY RARE Property to give you FREE PARKING to accommodate your large Vehicle/large Truck or large Trailer ! For following reasons, I conclude that this Holiday Inn Express is also well within the Spectrum of the other Holiday Inn Brands I have personally experienced ! Pros === Just stayed here July 2026. Absolutely delightful LARGE Parking Lot with ample space for everyone ! After searching nearly 25 similar properties , this was the ONLY property which gave us FREE PARKING for our Truck and Trailer. Property is very easily accessible and is IMMEDIATELY Proximal to Interstate I -70 at Exit 79 between Dayton, Ohio to the West and Columbus, Ohio to the East . Additional to us, we saw SEVERAL other guests Long Trucks and Trailers also parked INSIDE property compound ! We were welcomed cordially at arrival and everything was done to make us comfortable and safe here. Working ELEVATOR ; a great PLUS for seniors and the disabled . Saw many children on the morning we stayed at the Free Breakfast area with parents and extended families . Plenty of luggage carts for guests to use without having to hunt them. Amazingly quiet without disturbance considering that Hotel is proximal to a Truck Plaza . Hotel was very safe for us ! Door locks worked just fine. The day before we came Hotel was SOLD OUT ! We got the last room the NIGHT we came for ! ( Hence I question the validity of some negative reviews I have seen, if this place is so bad as reported ???? ) Good Clean and Functional Rooms, Clean linen , Clean Room and functional Toilet, Great Free Hot Breakfast with Full American Spread, including fruit , fruit juice, milk , Yogurt and eggs , Sausages, Hot pockets, pastries, cinnamon rolls, waffle maker , Free 24 hr nice Coffee in lobby . Hotel is decent and clean in all areas including lobby we visited . Hotel is ENTIRELY NON-smoking . No carpet odor , No pot odor , No bed bugs here . No noisy screaming guests or teenagers here . Fantastic and friendly Front Desk staff day and night - Mr Brodie , Ms Sara , Ms Amanda , Ms Blair, Ms Rebecca and owner Mr Nash P. who appears to run a wonderful place. External environment of the property is clean and eye pleasing . Cons ==== This is an older property and understandably some hotel fittings are somewhat dated despite been perfectly functional . Unfortunately for anyone looking for a Spanking new Marriott Marqui at this very competitive price point, they are out of luck , are in the wrong Exit plus are in the wrong Parking Lot !
