    Stayed here with my Fiance and our service animal. We are silber elite members, filled out paperwork for the service animal. 2 days after checking out they charged us a pet fee.

    Holiday Inn & Suites Lima is, without question, a property I strongly urge future guests to avoid. During my stay, I discovered pervasive black mold throughout the room, which raises serious concerns about health, cleanliness, and overall maintenance standards. This is not a minor housekeeping oversight but an indication of deeply neglected conditions that no guest should be subjected to. Compounding the sanitation issues, there were no effective quiet hours in place; excessive noise continued well into the night, and the front desk agent made no meaningful effort to address the disturbance despite it being reported multiple times. The complete lack of enforcement of a peaceful environment made rest essentially impossible. Equally troubling, I have repeatedly requested a callback and any form of follow‑up from management regarding these conditions and the failure of staff to intervene, and I have received absolutely no response. This silence from leadership reflects a profound disregard for guest welfare, guest feedback, and basic hospitality standards. In light of the serious health concerns, absence of operational quiet hours, and total lack of accountability from management, I would rate this hotel negative five out of five stars and emphatically recommend that you do not stay at this property under any circumstances. Update: Thank you for your response and for restoring 25,000 points to my IHG account. While I acknowledge this gesture, it does not adequately address the seriousness of the black mold, the ongoing noise issues, or the complete lack of follow‑up from management that I experienced. These are not minor service lapses but fundamental failures in health, safety, and leadership accountability at the property level. I am requesting that management take further concrete action beyond points—such as a partial or full refund for the stay, a written explanation of how these issues are being addressed, and assurance that appropriate corrective measures and staff coaching are being implemented—so that this situation is treated with the seriousness it warrants.
