  I stayed in the firefly cabin. The cabin was cute and cozy but when you walk in you can tell some upgraded needed to be done. The bedding smelled like mildew and the hot tube was dirty when we arrived. On our 2nd night there the water wasn’t working so I called to let them know. This guy named Ryan answer and said he will try to come out and fix the problem but with it being so late he didn’t know if he would have the part. I asked if the problem can’t be fixed til the morning will there be sort of compensation he said others were having that issue and are understanding. Once he came out he had a big attitude said that the others water was working so he doesn’t understand why ours isn’t. Then water started running out very low and slow. I told him the water did that before he came but lasted 5 mins. He said well it’s nothing he can do tonight it’ll have to wait till morning but we can use the hot tub water to flush the toilet. While I was trying to explain the situation he kept cutting me off then he tried the water again and it didn’t work and I said see this is what I was talking about he said I was being very rude and then said let me see if I can find the problem. As I was getting ready to ask what if he can’t find the problem he cut me off again saying he doesn’t want to argue with me but I wasn’t trying to argue and I didn’t even get a word out he said what do you want for compensation $100 or what what do you want you should be happy I’m out here this late checking the issue most won’t. When I tried to say just see if you can fix it he kept saying what do you want for compensation what do you want and then my husband stepped in and said if the problem isn’t fixed we’d tell them in the morning. I ended up keeping my mouth shout when he kept talking because it seem like he wanted to make an issue with me when I was just trying to ask questions about what was going on and trying to get the problem solved. Lastly once he walked out the door he said I’m going to see if I can’t fix the problem but I won’t be back in to let you know if it’s fixed or not. Later around 11:50 he sent me a rude text message basically stating that the issue was resolved in a timely manner and that my tone was very confrontational and he chose to resolve the issue then be talked at. I’m not sure if he had a issue with me because I’m a woman or I’m black but he definitely had an issue with me just wanting to get the problem fixed. I will never come back to this property.

  Our Cabin had Cockroach’s! We had to put a towel and in front of the door because there was a Gap between the door frame and the floor and I believe that’s where they were coming in! Slept with the lights on! But overall it was a relaxing trip!

  Stayed in the Lake cabin, which is the last one located in a dead end drive. Comfortable and spacious. Private hot tub as well as sauna. Perfect getaway with a picturesque atmosphere. Quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend staying here. Host is quick to respond and attentive.
