The location of this hotel was great! The rest was not. I’m not from Ohio, but where I live, all the hotels around don’t charge until you check out. Which is quite opposite here. I paid as soon I got there. There’s no complimentary breakfast, the long haired lady who check me in, was rude with her words and her facial expressions. Not only that I booked a double QUEEN room. I received a double FULL ROOM. Felt like there was no air in the hallways. My friend stayed here as well and was told her room had a microwave since my friend had to go buy food from Walmart because of her gluten intolerance and when she got to her room, there was no microwave. She had tried asking the staff there if the kitchen could accommodate gluten intolerances and they had absolutely no answer for her. Literally, they ignored her and never answered

We enjoyed our stay here this past weekend. I wish I got the lady's name who worked at the front desk ( she had blondish hair) She was super nice and provided excellent customer service especially when checking me in and out. My room was clean, nice hot showers. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of food. Great entertainment at the bar in the hotel friday night. My son really enjoyed the pool and his stay, was sad we had to leave lol. My only issue was the bathroom sink, the drain plug was broken so not functional but aside from that it was a great weekend. We will back in the future.

They always do an outstanding job for the United Steelworkers. The rooms are nice and big, having a refrigerator and microwave is such a wonderful addition. I wish the shower had a little better non-stick thing. It can be slippery at times. Having the rolling desk area is perfect for eating and workout. I can sit by the window. The bed is comfortable also. I the hallway carpet on 4th floor could use some attention. The roller cart gets stuck on it. The food was good all the days I was there, and that's 3 days. My only issue is we are usinh the ballroom and their staff is behind that wall, and multiple times we can to stop talking because they was so loud moving things and talking. They should be reminded we are there doing something, I have a feeling tgey forget that. Other than that the staff is outstanding.

AVOID, not safe!! Worst hotel experience of my life. Music was so loud from their bar area at 12:50AM that I went to ask to have my room moved. While in lobby, apparently they served someone too much at the bar because some guys were preparing to fist fight… this is unlike any Holiday Inn I’ve ever seen by any margin

This hotel is horribly misrepresented on the hotel website. The hotel website show a nicely updated room and the lobby also appeared to have undergone recent updates, however the rooms do not match the pictures in any way.
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, the first being over a year and a half ago. When I stayed last time, I felt the room was in poor condition, but was told they were being renovated. I decided to give it another shot, as the website boasted the newer rooms on their site. The hallways and rooms were even worse the second time around; the carpet has large trip hazards all the way down the hall from where it has come unglued and the lighting is dark. In the rooms, the mattresses were broken, the window treatment was falling off the rod, the sink was completely plugged (took over 30 minutes to drain after filling halfway up when my 7 year old brushed his teeth) and the rusted sink stopper was sitting on the bathroom counter when we arrived because it wouldn't stay up in the sink, allowing it to drain. Due to the fact that it was 10:30pm, and my kids needed to get to bed, I would have headed back to the front desk to complain that night. Instead, I messaged the customer service chat on the app and was informed that they would reach out to hotel management asap and someone would get back to me.
I didn't hear from anyone that night or the next morning, so I went to the front desk to check out and reported the state of the room. She canceled the remainder of the stay, but made no mention of the stay the night before. When I reached back out to customer service the next night, I was informed that the hotel management had marked the situation as resolved, even though I never heard from management (and still have not).
I would like someone from management to reach out regarding this stay, as they clearly have misrepresented the quality of their rooms and charge a premium price point a product that is mediocre on their best day.
